I called last week to check the interest rates on a CD - IRA. Roll over from another bank
To see who was higher
we already have a checking account there already
we sat down - gave SS number driver's license and had to text my cell phone with a code to prove it was me
Then the guy started to ask questions about old jobs
I ask where you are getting this information he said it's in the computer
I never had a loan here this is odd
after all this to open a new CD he then asks about going to another department upstairs for stock
I said no I'm here for this only he replied they asked us to find and send people there
then for the heck of it got a copy of my credit report saw PNC did a soft check each time I put money into a CD or IRA WHY ?
I'm putting money in not asking for money
and didn't ask anything about stock
No more I will never deal with this bank again
let me guess the day I take the CD out another soft credit check
Manager came over and was told we have to do this ... Because of fraud
okay that point on I sat there just watched
My wife opened an IRA too the same day
no one texted her cell phone with a code no one asked for her driver's license .....when it was all done I said to the manager .........Wow
What happened to policy you know fraud she walked away came back with 2 PNC coffee cups gave them to us I took and kindly put them in my trash
You don't need to do a credit check on me to add money to your bank
Do not use my SS number to try and sell me something without my permission
Your not being slick you only wasted my time and made me hate this bank
and I wasn't bringing in cash that you would have had to question it
It was a check from another bank
WTH - I do not believe this bank has my best
Interest in mind

I had to close my joint account because unfortunately my significant other passed away. I had the fortune of working with Hamida during this time. Although it was a lengthy and difficult time and process to close the account, she really had a professionalism and authentic approach to my circumstance. The account couldnt close due to an issue. She had told me she wpuld keep an eye out. And lo and behold, she called me a few weeks later with information. Its rare that someone goes above and beyond. And to me, she did!
I would recommend this bank because of her.
So, a huge thank you to Hamida.

Don’t pick up the phone. If I call again tomorrow and don’t get an answer I will be moving and investing my money elsewhere.

I opened a new account for my 16-year-old with Personal Banker Matthew, who was extremely helpful and professional. The greeter at the door was very welcoming, and when I left, there was a different greeter who was just as friendly. Both maintained excellent eye contact and had a warm demeanor. As a new PNC customer, my experience has been great so far!

I went there Saturday to get a new debit card. Mine expires 12/24. They should have mailed me a new one earlier. Not enough customer service agents. I had to wait a half hour to be seen.

Can you please fix your ATMs? There are two freestanding PNC ATMs within 10 miles of my home but both are down. Your branch is the closest otherwise and all 3 ATMs are down so I'm 0 for 5 today.

Second day in a row that the drive up ATM is down & the other two ATM machines aren’t accepting cash deposits. The women at the counter inside suggest you just make a cash deposit with the teller 🤗 (who has seven people waiting in line) Sure, I’d like to spend the next half hour here.

Grace Brandstetter was very helpful with my closing one of my sister’s accounts! She explained everything thoroughly and clearly before closing it and made sure we knew what was happening.

They never answer their phones, particularly at the Robinson location, and no one on the 800 number ever knows anything to help you or are difficult to understand. Very frustrating.
