Nestled in some of the coolest hills I have been fortunate enough to see and positioned around several indescribably awesome attractions this branch is quaint & convenient! The customer service was indisputably professional & was prepared & seemingly enthusiastic with accomplishing the tasks I needed to complete! I left satisfied & grateful for an exceptional experience!

Ship here daily since moving to Pittsburgh three years ago. Amy is always friendly, courteous, and professional. It's a pleasure to ship here, it's like a visit to a good neighbor.

Worst customer service experience ever. The attendant was entitled and unhelpful. She had a bad attitude after they lost one of my packages. Not recommended at all.

Can't get anyone on the phone to save your life. Tried to call 40 times today and it goes to a fax line. I'm convinced this is why the Postal Service is in such rough shape all over the country. There is ZERO accountability even when calling the 1800 line to try and get ahold of these people at the local office.

Ken, who used to work here was so friendly and helpful. The woman that works at the counter now is one of the rudest, most condescending, and unhelpful employees I've ever encountered anywhere. This woman belongs no where near a customer facing position. She will be on her cell phone when you walk in and make you wait. She will have personal conversations with those she people she personally knows that come in, and treat every other customer in between terribly. She doesn't care to help with questions or concerns about details on shipping items, or mail. I've seen her talk down to nearly every customer she encounters, and is just generally unpleasant. I hope this review finds the right person at USPS and they talk to her about her attitude, because it's truly unacceptable.

Poor customer service! We have requested our packages be held at the post office a few times, and they never hold them. We try calling to talk to them, but no one answers the phone. I have called three times, and they aren’t supposed to be closed for another forty five minutes. We don’t usually have any issues with the postman.

This is it. The worst USPS location I've ever visited. Aside from the unacceptably bad hours of operation, every experience I've had here was poor. Most recently, I mistakenly taped up a box that wasn't a flat rate box. The lady behind the counter couldn't be bothered to offer any help and later charged me $4 extra because I taped the box and no longer needed it. Shows a complete lack of care for the customers. Pay the difference and ship with a private company that actually cares.

If you're expecting good service from usps or even this location you might as well hop in your car and then take a flight across the world to deliver your own package because usps is probably the worst delivery company that touched planet earthIt's pathetic and this location specifically is filled with complete idiots.

This is probably the worst post office in Pittsburgh. I checked their hours online before making a trip there. They are supposed to be open from 9-12 on Saturday's and there is no sign on the door saying they are operating on modified hours due to Covid or anything like that yet the post office is closed and completely empty. I really hope whoever works there was not getting paid for lying about opening the post office and I am reporting the incident to USPS.

2:30 march 18th; lazy lady refused to mail a package that I immediately left and took the package to the strip and it was mailed with a smile- and she wouldve had me paying $11 more than I needed if I listened- but id never listen to someone filing their nails while refusing to do their job.... Heres the story: The lady watched me fumble clothes into a box, not wanting them to touch the counter. The box was full, but Ive sent way fuller boxes as I mail them almost weekly. As shes filing her nails, seriously, tells me that it looks like i worked really hard but she refuses to mail the box. I say, it fits it ships. Policy is under 70lbs for flat rate. She comments that the one fold isnt lined to the box but it can be lined pretty easily. I mail these boxes all the time; shes being lazy. I say, thats fine ill go to my local office in verona if your going to be difficult. I was in town and had really wanted to mail it then so i drove directly to the strip via maps. They mailed the box without ANY issue. I asked, is there anything wrong with this box? He said, no. He said the box a square box, and the flaps hold their integrity. They were not ripped or had additional tape. The box was not torn in anyway. The folds held themselves even after i untaped it and put it to the edge. It was completely together. I tell the strip district post office attendant, mt washington wouldnt mail this box. He says actually if u put it in this box, same size but thru mail not flat rate youd pay 13 instead of 15. The mt washington lady- had i listened wouldve have me paying over 23.00. When I called mt washington to let her know she may need retrained and work on some customer service skills instead of filing her nails... The phone was never answered even tho i called during hours and 4 times in intervals- yes, i have issues but i just couldnt believe she wasnt answering. Like, this is the post office; ive call offices looking for important mail, delivery issues- once a carrier came and opened my neighbors box cuz i had a check misaddressed to the wrong apt no. Its just, if she did it to me - shell do it to someone who really cant afford it. Anyways, very difficult and i bet those counters are never cleaned and i was right to not want my items touching their counter. She saw me struggle the clothes into the box and belittled me - mollification is how id define the experience and anyone else shes refused.

Fantastic little post office when it comes to service, Ken is the man and always handles all the scanning and packages I need sent out in a regular basis. The other 3 workers I've seen here have always been adequate as well and get the job done! The only downsides is this office is tiny! So it gets full very quickly some hours and the hours are not great. But the short hours seems to be hitting other usps locations as well.All in all great service, great handling and my packages for my online shop have always reached their destination when needed!
