“If you are looking to gain strength and or tone up this is the place for you. I do much better in a group setting and the classes offered here match up to any fitness club in the US (I've been to many throughout US). The instructors are top notch, and the class offerings have a nice balance between strength and cardio. The environment is motivating and clean they play great music during the classes, provide towels for both sanitizing and wiping the sweat off. They have many offerings to fit your lifestyle, I prefer the $50 per month (no contract required) and go to as many classes as you can make. They also have a per use option and many other options as well. First class is free - give it a shot!”

“We always drop in here when we are in town visiting family. Love how they have two different classes going at once so you can choose with one you want to do. The coaches are all very knowledge and nice. It's a large facility with so many options if you drop in. If you are in the area visiting or living in the area I would definitely recommend checking out this box.12/2023: Years later still love this awesome place when we are in town.”

“Planet Fitness is so different from other gyms. There aren't a bunch of muscle heads! Everyone does their own thing and doesn't bother anyone else. Most of all, it is very clean, even the bathrooms! I will never use public bathrooms but I will use theirs. They are spotless. The equipment is always kept up and well taken care of.”

“Dr. Yanik is great! I’m a hairstylist so I’m constantly on my feet and using my arms, whenever I’m starting to get pain in my shoulders or my back the first thing I do is go get an adjustment! A few good sessions and I’m sleeping better and have more energy with less soreness!”

“This place is a great supportive environment. Folks that have been in therapy find a home here to explore their new capabilities and manage a regular exercise program again. I’m doing things now in my 50s that I didn’t think were possible again. The group exercise programs are challenging but structured in a way to prevent injury. You can warm up on your own and stretch after . It’s still your choice to bounce a ball in your face or choose a box that’s too high to jump on to but it’s part of the plan to find your boundaries in a safer environment than cross fit xyz or at your own peril. Plus there’s periodic funevents that challenge everyone like St Paddy’s Day She nanigans. I think I found the magic sauce here.”

“One of my favorite places. Happiness does come in a gym. Mini in-house Triathlon with my coworker who inspires everyone to greatness. Anyone can do it. Indoor track makes it even easier. Love Dave's classes...hard core. Brian's are hard core in a different way. Zumba is a lot of fun if that's your thing. The pool is very nice. There is lots of space, and are many equipment areas, massage chairs, saunas, steam rooms etc. Just a wonderful place... because of the people too.”

“I always hesitate to write Google reviews (this might be my first one ever) because of how public they are, but I had such a fabulous experience at TRYBE that I kind of had to. I was visiting Scranton for a wedding recently and stumbled upon it when I was searching for a spin class but found so much more! As a person who's used to having a lot of fitness options available to me and loves to start my day with a fun and challenging workout, there wasn't a lot to choose from in Scranton (and my hotel's gym didn't even have a treadmill!), but TRYBE more than fit the bill and I'm so glad I discovered it first. I took a class every single day I was in town and also scheduled a training session with Michelle + another client, and every single experience was wonderful. All of the trainers and instructors provided fun, up-to-date, effective workouts and were friendly and encouraging, and Michelle REALLY knows her stuff. I left feeling good about myself and ready for the day every single time. I'm usually more of a cardio person, but the classes and sessions I took encouraged me to do more strength-training once I got back home.If you're traveling to Scranton and looking for a place to take group fitness classes or do personal training/small-group training, go here! And if you live in Scranton . . . also go here! The location (The Giving Tree) has a great vibe (and also great nutritious snack options that were hard to find elsewhere downtown!) and the prices are absolutely incredible! (Like a full-on personal training session is literally the same price as one drop-in class in Los Angeles.)”

“I had knee surgery and never recovered as I should. A second surgeon said that I needed to have the knee re-done. I was reluctant. He said I might try strengthening the muscles around the knee. A friend told me of her success with PSCP, so I gave it a try. That was six weeks ago, and my knee feels wonderful. I am 75 yrs. old and worried in the past about falling , since I had a previous fall and dislocated my shoulder. My trainer has worked also on balance and core strenghening, which made a tremendous difference. I am very pleased.”

“Price is in line with other Gymnastics Centers. Coach Ann and Coach Nikko are very good with the kids. My daughter has been going for a little over 6 months and lives it! Clean facility with lots of equipment choices for the kids. Definitely a great place to start if your kids are interested in gymnastics.”

“Dankos is the most complete gym I haveever joined . I moved to the area earlier this year. Dankos has it all lots of equipment, spinning . A boxing room, hot Yoga, yoga and lots of other classes . Several basketball courts , lots of cardio machines and everyone is friendly . They even have 6.00 am classes for those who have to work during the day .”

“Friendly staff, they have all the equipment/free weights I desire, the massage chairs Re updated and feel great! Could use new bulbs in stand up booth IMO. Last complaint would be the closing at 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is a day where full time workers have one day where they can plan to go all out and do a nice, long workout. Covid happened in 2021, it’s 2023. I’m 100% positive you can afford to hire someone to keep the gym open until 10pm at the earliest on Saturdays! It’s. Shame she I mistakenly pull up at 6 thinking I have time to get stuff in plus massage chair plus tan..”

“I am from CA and we were members of Crunch over there. Those gyms were not even close to how nice this one is! There are plenty of treadmills even at peak gym time. The squat racks you might have to wait for if you come at 5pm, but that is to be expected. My favorite time to come is around 6am because there are some people there so it’s not an empty ghost town, but all the equipment you will need is open. I also take the classes on occasion and they have the fanciest spin bikes LOL. They have a digital screen on them to show all your stats like mileage, calories burned, gear, etc. The HIIT classes are my favorite though. There is a special HIIT zone to do the class and you cycle through different stations. There is every level of ability doing these classes so don’t be afraid! I also loved doing their kickboxing classes. They have a box of gloves you can use if you don’t have your own. Then, you get to punch and kick the bags even if you don’t know how to (like me) they will teach you. We also had some funky stuff with our old memberships and they were patient and understanding getting all the info they needed to switch us. 10/10 would recommend this gym!”
