We really appreciate all of the Banfield staff at this location. After coming from a bad experience at the Banfield in Robinson, we were hesitant to continue care but everyone on this staff has been amazing. Especially Katherine, who was so patient and kind to our more reactive dog.My only complaint is that it seems Banfield is trying to transition to drop off appointments which I’m not a fan of. However whenever I say no, they find me an appointment I can be present for!

Good vet service. They are often understaffed resulting in long hold times. The pet plan does not cover as much as I would like..there is still a lot out of pocket.

We have been bringing our dogs to Banfield since they were puppies, and have noted over the last year the care to be lackluster. Most recently we had our dogs scheduled for a vet visit for several months, ensured to have the day off from work to accommodate bringing them in as we have 3. Five days prior to the appointment we receive a call that the office will not be open on 3/7/24 (a random Thursday) and that we would need to reschedule, my husband notified them that this was not okay as he had planned to be off work 3/7 however could do a drop off appointment on 3/8. They said this would be fine and when he inquired as to what time he could bring them the tech stated as early as possible would be fine. He arrived at Banfield on 3/8 at 8:05am and called to notify he was in the lot as he needed assistance to get all 3 of the dogs inside. He then waited for 40 minutes for staff to come outside to assist with checkin, while he watched 4 other customers go inside and drop their pets off and return to their cars. He finally called the desk again and inquired as to why no one came out and a tech was then sent out, he ultimately ended up being late for work due to Banfield’s delays. Typically our dogs take about 2 hours or less while at the vet, this time when 1pm rolled around, and we had not been contacted I called and was told that our pets were not yet done, which is very confusing because I’ve never had a visit take so long. I inquired if our dogs were being taken outside for toileting and provided water and was assured they were. At 2:45 we finally received a call indicating that 2 of our pets were done and that we could head out and by the time we got there our other dog’s exam should be complete. We arrived to pick them up at approximately 3:30pm, and got home around 3:50pm. Immediately upon our return home all three of my dogs urinated a profuse amount of urine and all had to move their bowels which makes me question that they were toileted at all throughout the day. Due to this experience and the overall decline in the care we feel our pets have received over the last year, we will not be renewing our plan, which is a shame as we’ve been with Banfield for over 6 years.

Good people, friendly service. Helps me get the medicated food for my dogs. Fairly simple plus its inside Petsmart. One stop shopping. Dogs can pick treats & toys for being so good ??

I can’t give 0 stars or I would, All Banfields seem to be a joke at this point. Took my dog In for routine exam and teeth cleaning a 8 am drop off, usually I get a call by 130-2 that she’s ready no call so I call in they said they were still monitoring her and if they don’t call then be here at 545 which is rude you have my animal I want updates, anyways thought all was good show up to get my pup and people who show up after me are getting their animals but no signs of my dog no big deal I’m off finally my dog comes out and usually she runs to me and this time she was lethargic from anistetic no biggie she wasn’t acting normal but thought she would bounce back we’re on day 4 of no solid poops and she’s puked twice and still not acting 100% I’ve called and got no calls back also the vet was suppose to come out and go over my dogs report and instead decided to call and leave a vm not professional at all I spend 1000 a year for 7 years there and will not be renewing I would encourage others to do the same

Waited to long for them to complete the prescheduled appointment, 7 hours for two 12 year old labs is to long.

I brought my cats in just to get a prescription sedative so they can fly peacefully on a plane in the near future. I thought it would be an exam and then they'd prescribe something. It turned into 2 visit fees, 2 exam fees, 2 blood tests(why a blood test is over $300 per cat I have no clue). At the end it came to over $1000 just for them to tell us they're healthy. I had to remind them to write the prescription at the end. They also wouldn't release my cats without seeing their previous vaccine history otherwise they were going to vaccinate them again so I had to go back home and get that information. We never actually seen the vet and the other staff were very friendly. Maybe all of this is standard practice but oh my lord what a racket. If they would have told us all of this before we made the appointment.. like what to expect I would've taken my cats somewhere else. If you choose to go here good luck ??

Receptionist was very polite, vet just kept trying to make me spend more money and hardly listened to what I had to say, I went in to get my cat neutered, which I had mentioned over the phone, and in person, and yet they told me they weren't going to neuter him for a long while (ONLY WHEN I HAD ALREADY ARRIVED FOR MY APPOINTMENT.) Needs better communication and better customer service

Have Banfield pet insurance for 3 cats and a dog. It's not worth it. All of our experiences have been awful. Even with the insurance we pay over 200$ a visit. Our cat has had urine issues for a couple months. They never resolve them and we continue to pay every visit but they save results. Just awful

We have been coming to Banfield for about a year now, and have mostly had good or average experiences with them. Our last visit, however, was quite the opposite. This review is more of the system that they have in place in general, as the staff working there are very friendly. All we wanted was to take our cat for a quick appointment to get her nails trimmed, as it is almost impossible for her to let us trim them ourselves and they cause problems with our other cat. We had taken her a few months back for this with no issues at all, quick in and out within 10 mins for around $20. When we called them to set up an appointment for her nails this time, they said that they would not take her for anything unless she gets a check up and vaccines, as it had been over a year since her last visit even though we were just there a few months ago. So we ended up scheduling her for a drop off appointment for that as well as for her nails. We drop her off at 10:45AM and are told that they have no estimate for how long it would take, so we are pretty much left in the dark until they would call us with an update. A few hours later we called to see if they had an idea of when she would be done, and they hadn't even seen her yet! It wasn't until 5PM when she was ready to go home. We only learned later that a "drop off" appointment meant that you drop them off in the morning and then the doctors get to them later in the day (we were NOT aware of this when we first made the appointment). Our cat is a very scared and anxious cat as is, so had we'd known that she would be sitting at the vet all day we would not have made the appointment. Exam results all came back fine with no problems, although we already knew she was fine. All that just because we wanted her nails trimmed! What could have been an easy, cheap, in and out visit turned out to be way longer and more expensive than it needed to be. Be aware that when you schedule a drop off appointment your pet will be sitting around all day until the doctors get to them.

This review is slightly jaded. I wish I could split this review in two. The staff at Banfield and Dr. Haygood deserve 5 stars. However, Dr. Hutchison deserves 1 star. Dr. Hutchison will try to upsell every service and push every additional expense on to you, and disagree with every decision you make for your fur-baby. Want to give Glucosamine instead of a prescription for arthritis? That's no good. Want to give fish oil instead of an allergy prescription? Nope, no way. Want to actually cook your doggo their own food with no added preservatives or fillers according to happyandyummy.com/2016/0… that we have been making for our doggo for years now? Nope, no good, suddenly she has a problem with it and demands we see a special dog nutritionist! And we have been over our dog's diet with Dr. Haygood AND Dr. Hutchison before. Dr. Haygood has no problem with our dog's diet and PREVIOUSLY Dr. Hutchison didn't either BUT SUDDENLY she does. And the care plan keeps going up and up in price only to be hassled and told, "well, this isn't in her chart!" I don't think it's my responsibility to make sure things are documented correctly in her chart, but I do know the same questions are always asked at check in, and one of them being, what do we feed our dog. And the answer has always, ALWAYS been the same. I should also add that our doggo is thriving. THRIVING. She is a beautiful mixed breed of pitbul and sheppard that we rescued when she was about 2 years old. She's about 8 now and still acts like a puppy. We will continue her diet as we see fit, with supplements included. Dr. Hutchison can go pound salt.
