“This was a great game store. Lots of board games and the staff was awesome! Prices were MSRP, but they have a nice loyalty program. I did not see any Magic the Gathering, Pokémon or other CCGs if that’s your thing.”
“An amazing shop with a little bit of everything an artist needs. Their paint supplies put other shops to shame. For a small business it packs a huge punch. Located next to the busy bagel store, have a friend stand in the bagel line while you get your supplies!”
“Had an amazing experience. He was very honest and explained everything to me. Gave me top dollar for my coins. Would 10/10 recommend to any looking to sell their coins to someone honest.”
“Adam made selling my father's coins as easy as possible. He came to my house for an on site appraisal and gave me a fair price for what we had. I highly recommend them for your coin selling and buying needs.”
“Brad examined each coin carfully and found certain marks that made some coins more valuable. Super professional, very friendly and knowledgeable in the field, The best part is he will educate you through the process. I would recommend this shop ? ?”
“Solid shop. Great selection of back issues and prices. Staff is always friendly and helpful. In addition to comics, they also have games and a plethora of other pop culture items.”
“I sold my sterling silverware and received a great price for it. No pressure, no haggling, just very trustworthy and honest offering. Very professional and credible business!”
“I love this place. Al and Al Jr. are very nice and are very knowledgeable. They have a big variety of coins, paper currency, and coin books/albums. Also fair prices. Highly recommend!”
“I was wondering how old does an autograph have to be to be considered vintage i saw the response from 2 months ago about you guys buying memorabilia so was curious. Would come with matching COA from a major authenticator like PSA, beckett, or JSA. I have alot of autographed memorabilia all certified authentic from different sports, such as Dante hall jerseys and football, lesean Mccoy, Bill "mad dog" Madlock & a few pens jerseys, since we're in pittsburgh and alot more. I'm looking to downsize my collection as I rotate the man cave out depending on the season. The autographs are in great shape (never exposed to direct sunlight and in non humid places).”
“It's a true old school hole in the wall collectibles store. Stuff everywhere to look through, fun people hanging out. Gotta be your vibe and don't expect a Starbucks and free wifi but you'll instantly feel 12 again.”
“This one at the waterfront seems to have a good selection of yarns, paints, frames and canvas. The clearance isle is always overflowing. People in Pittsburgh aren't crafty. We just pretend and forget. So there is always a huge selection of things down there.”
“most Pokémon products were out of stock which is what I went in for, however there were a lot of singles that were priced extremely well. Ended up getting several of those and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely go back”
“Easily the best trading card shop in the Pittsburgh area. The selection is unmatched. Even if you're not looking to buy something during your visit, it's fun just to check out the massive collection they have there. Whatever you're card or set you're looking for, you're most likely to find it there!”
“New, well stocked, very friendly, large inventory. Was able to hold a book that I couldnt find at other barns and noble locations. I wish there was a place to sit and read. Otherwise good place to grab a book if another place doesnt have it.”
“My wife and I had to check this out this weekend on an anniversary trip to Pittsburgh. We found a lot of cool stuff and a few great deals. Plenty of unique items to make the trip worthwhile. Definitely worth a stop. The two ladies working the front were super nice and helpful!!”
“I love going to Michaels. They have every type of craft item that you might need. They have a great selection and a friendly, helpful staff to help you find what you are looking for. The store has lots of free parking and is adjacent other stores that you may be interested in.”
“I have been coming to this place since I was a little kid to buy Pokemon cards, my father use to bring me here after work. The same guy John has been here forever very knowledgeable on anything card related. Gives me that mom and pop store vibe witch is very nice in today's society. After all these years I came back to buy more Pokemon and not only did he have what I was looking for but his selection is amazing, and very reasonable. As I was buying my cards I was very surprised he remembered my dad I didn't think he would remember me let alone my dad who passed 3yrs ago. Everytime I come in here I feel at home I never feel ripped off and I always find a great conversation. I highly recommend this place for any serious collector. Good things don't come easy he's only there Saturday and Monday but it's proof that rare things are always a great find. I hope u all have a great experience here like I do and I wouldn't be surprised when you do. Thanks for listeningYour local scrap man.”
“Stopped out today to grab a new 2026 Jimbo hobby and pulled a case hit. Always getting big pulls from these guys. Top notch shop. Highly recommend stopping. Not to mention they have a huge singles selection”
