“My Goldendoodle, Blue, developed a severe bacterial infection around his groin and back leg. The rash was extremely red and irritated, and we were very concerned about him.
My husband and I are fairly new to the area, and our previous veterinarian was quite far away. I called three different veterinary offices, but unfortunately, none of them could fit Blue in.
When I called Penn Animal Hospital, they were able to schedule an appointment for Blue within just a few hour's. The receptionist was kind, compassionate, and helpful, which meant so much to us during such a stressful situation.
When we arrived, we were taken to an exam room right away. The veterinary technician took their time to discuss Blue’s symptoms and medical history thoroughly. When Dr. Travis came in to examine Blue, he was patient and never made us feel rushed. He carefully addressed all of our concerns and clearly explained Blue’s treatment plan, including the medications he would receive and the proper dosage's.
My husband and I are so grateful that Penn Animal Hospital was able to see Blue so quickly and help him when we needed it most. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our sweet boy! 💙🐾🫶”
“Every time I have to go there, which is fairly often, since I have three dogs, the staff is helpful, very knowledgeable, and goes out of their way to accommodate any needs or requests. While I think all of the veterinarians that have seen my dogs for various things have been wonderful, Dr. Chick is amazing. She goes above and beyond to help your pet, whatever the problem. She really cares and it shows.”
“Took both of my cat's here for check ups in the span of two weeks. I was extremely satisfied with their prices and care my cat's received. The vet is very knowledgeable and goes through every option with you. There aren't any spaces for your cat or animal to crawl under and hide while in the examination room. They accept Care Credit which is a plus when you may encounter a more costly visit unexpectedly. They offer a cat only day for cat's that are frightened of dogs or whatever the case. Definitely one of the best vets I've been to in the city and will continue receiving care for my fur babies here!”

“VERY CARING PLACE. TOOK OUR MARLEY IN TODAY AND SHE WAS SEEN BY DR AARON. HE WALKED IN AND UNDERSTOOD THE NATURE OF OUR DOG WITHIN SECONDS AND DROPPED DOWN ON THE FLOOR AND SAT TO RELEAVE ANY STRESS THAT SHE HAD. SHES A 90 LB GERMAN SHEPHERD WHO HAS A LOT OF ANXIETY WITH OTHER MALES. DR AARON DID GREAT AT ASSESSMENT SHE HAS A YEAST INFECTION ON HER BELLY AND BACK WE WERE TREATED WITH THE UP MOST RESPECT AND ALL OF THE STAFF DID GREAT SHE EVEN GOT HER NAILS DONE. “I've been coming here for a few months now and everyone is so extremely kind and actually listens to my concerns about my pets, not to mention, the pricing here is phenomenal, I've never been to a more affordable vet where the doctors and technicians are extremely knowledgeable and always know what they're talking about! “I went in for our usual annual exam to find out my abusive ex had abandoned our dog there so he didn't have to pay and id be left with no way of paying because he cut off all the funds, then set up the appointments of course.
These women were so kind and I didn't feel embarrassed for anyone but him. He kept the cat that's still in my care. We were in and out and they handled it with so much care and empathy. And the dog was great as usual.”

“Had a vet appointment today at riverside veterinary clinic today. First the receptionist was very accommodating with setting up and also rescheduled because I had to cancel my first appointment. When I arrived today they were very helpful and helped me with carrying my cat into the examining room which is difficult for me because I am on oxygen. Dr Mirro was very thorough. He checked temperature, ears, listened to his lungs and did xrays. I was pleasantly surprised that the bill was a lot lower than expected. Will continue bringing our pets to this clinic.”

“West Liberty animal hospital is the best vet practice I have found in the south hills. Dr. Dorn has lots of experience and is incredibly knowledgeable. I would never wish a sick pet on anyone, but if you do ever find yourself in that situation, I would highly recommend WLAH. The vet techs and kind and patient. Dr. Dorn will offer realistic and medically sound pet care advice.
The practice is very affordable. They don’t charge you and arm and a leg. Dr. Dorn is good about recommending certain tests but mindful of your money. He doesn’t do unnecessary things to ring up your bill. They offer cash discount which also helps with the bills.”

“A few years ago I brought my senior cat into this clinic for the first time; he was very, very sick and I was so scared that I was going to lose him, but thanks to this place I was given 4 more years with my boy. Even though it's not an emergency clinic everyone on staff rolled out everything they could in order to help and kept me comforted in that scary time. Edgebrook was my first choice and will forever be the only place I trust to care for my beloved pets.

“Absolutely love Banfield Pet Hospital in Pleasant Hills. We are in the process of switching vets and all other vets had a 6-8 weeks wait. I made the appointment the night before. They have a great app and it is very user friendly. Took our male Akita there for ragweed allergies, which is a yearly issue. We got there early, they immediately got us checked in, did the exam, explained options and treated him within 40 mins and we were out the door. Our dog for the first time ever was very relaxed and comfortable. The Vet Tech; Amanda was very kind and affectionate to our dog. The vet Dr Marit Bakken was phenomenal. She took the time to answer our questions and explained options between allergy shots and allergy pills. We will most definitely be going back to Banfield Pet Hospital for all future problems and concerns.
I highly recommend Banfield Pet Hospital in Pleasant Hills.
