“Last week I was staying in the area on business. Over the river in Penn one of my tires met their demise VS a soft shoulder. Although it was the end of the day, Wes (manager) picked up the phone and went to work helping me out. While I waited for AAA (the tire was not going to be repaired as it had a sidewall gash), Wes called around and was able to secure me a well rated replacement tire for an incredible deal (within dollars of an discount online stores' costs, which are pretty discounted as it is) and got it on my car the next day (dismount spare, mount new tire on rim, balance, mount on car). 30-minutes tops securing me a tire, 30 minutes to mount it the next day, super reasonable price. Impressive. His shop is rather awesome inside (cool race feel) and the tech that changed my tire out was really nice and I never felt like a "masshole" around these folks. As I waited, I snapped some photos with my favorite vintage, a '68 Nikon 20mm UD lens. I'm glad awesome people like Wes, his tech and the other folks at Discount Auto Parts and Repair still exist in this world. Next time you are looking for a set or even a single, don't hop online, hop in the car and walk into Discount in Frenchtown. It's likely to be an enjoyable experience (it was for me).Services: Auto tire replacement”

My first experience taking my car in was not perfect, but as someone who has worked in service most of her career, I can be the first to admit the customer is not always right (even with me as customer) - there was a lot going on on my end and that likely contributed to some miscommunication. The miscommunication did not impact my car and even though I was a little frustrated, Libby and Kevin were gracious throughout - I was happy with the service performed, so I went back a second time. Smooth sailing and again, great customer service and communication. I even had a follow up issue and they got me in immediately and took care of it. “Zyg's got high quality craftsmanship when it comes to euro cars. The price is as expected if you own a BMW/Mercedes/Audi etc, I had a very rough idle from my engine of my 2000 323ci, my lower intake boot was split, multiple engine codes, and needed a couple new tires as well as brakes in the rear. The car runs very well, no SES lights after a month, and I'm happy to say these guys are legitimate as this review. 5 *s hands down, I'll be by soon to get the inspection sticker, still waiting on the tags office to notify me. Bottom line I plan on coming back for more work, my trust is with them.”

“I "luckily" got a flat tire a block away from melsons which is how I wound up here. Guy behind the counter was very dry but besides that it was a decent experience. I checked prices online to get an idea if I was getting screwed before getting there but their price was pretty fair compared to online prices for the same tire. Got my tire installed and balanced and also had my wheels rotated since I was there. When my car is up for inspection I'll probably stop in to melsons.”
