  Love this post office! Nicely re-surfaced parking and lots of it, friendly and knowledgeable service workers guiding me how to spend less on package deliveries, etc. One just told me that they just got a super new mail sorter machine which will enable them to handle mail sorting for several towns in a truly efficient manner. She said it will minimize delays and losses. And now, you can rate the service you received on the spot before you leave! I have mine a big 😊! Also, you can use the self-service station if you don’t want to wait in line. You can also get passport services here, and that’s not true at all post offices. I took family members for theirs and had no issues. Another ☺️!

  Long wait. Little kids unsupervised and messing up cards and parents not supervising kids. One USPS employee rude chews gum all the time.one of worst USPS AND is main office. Clean it up!

  This post office was nice but I just was sening a card in to get graded did the self service and instead of shipping th card to PSA Out to Cali they sent it back to my house and I cant get a refund

  Nasty people behind the counter, a man at the right rude and miserable and an old woman, you can feel their contempt for the customers of color and Spanish speaking people. They should be happy because the 5th St branch is permanently closed, they closed the most important branch and now 13th st is one of only a few options. I won’t be going there anymore, I know racism when I see it.

  I stopped in here during the passport walk-in hours as listed on their website. I took my son out of school early and took off work to get his passport renewed for a trip. When I got to the counter, the guy who does the passports told me they’re not accepting walk-ins anymore because they’re “understaffed” and can only help if we have an appointment. There was no one else waiting to do a passport and only one other customer was in the post office. There was another employee at the counter who could take care of the other customer. The employee could have easily finished my passport without making anyone wait, but he was too lazy to do his job. He just kept saying “have a good day” loudly and taking over me as I asked why he couldn’t do the passport during the walk in hours as advertised.
  
  I drove out to the Birdsboro post office and they had the passport done in no more than five minutes. Good job Birdsboro 👍
  
  The attitude and pathetic work ethic of the guy from the Reading post office is the exact reason that Trump is going to privatize the post office, and it can’t happen soon enough. It’s bureaucracies like the post office that DOGE needs to audit and remove useless employees. Just remember your terrible customer service when you’re sitting at home without a job…because accountability is finally coming.

  The man who assisted me treated me terrible. It is incredible that they have people working with little empathy for customer's.

  I pay a high PO Box fee every year, but don't always get my mail on time, what's up with that!
  The staff there claimed their very short staffed, which has nothing to do with me, more like a them problem, how do they have people working at a postal service talking about that's not my job. Pick up the slack and complete the job its really not that hard, you mean to tell me you don't even have not one person to fill PO boxes, etc overnight.

  I check the time on my phone, and it's a few minutes before closing, and they already closed up.

  The man with the long beard is racist. That man is terrible. When you make an appointment for a passport, he treats you badly because of his English. I told myself that I should speak more English. However, I went to another one and they translated it for me for a friend. I was scheduled to make 3 appointments and she even cried. That man should work for a company for himself, not to serve very poorly educated public personnel. That's why I don't go to that place no matter how close it is to me.

  I'm so glad this isn't my local P.O. I'd lose my mind! Answer your phones!!!! Some people can't just walk in whenever they want. Not Disabled Friendly.
