Nearby, there are picnic tables and shaded pavilions, which are perfect for gatherings, birthday parties, or relaxing meals. The park also has a workout area for adults and a designated area for dogs, making it a versatile space for all visitors.
While the splash pad is temporarily closed for remodeling, it was once a favorite attraction for summer fun. The park provides bathrooms close to the play area and scattered picnic spots throughout the grounds. Many visitors enjoy walking their dogs here and appreciate the open, welcoming environment. However, some feel the park could benefit from renovations and new attractions to keep kids entertained. Overall, Fairmount Park remains a well-loved spot for outdoor recreation, picnics, and community events, despite recent challenges with the splash pad and changes in the neighborhood.
I will be happy to see what they put in place of the splash pad.

It's very nice for a small community. Some swings, jungle gym for small kids, exercise equipment for bigger kids & adults. Splash pad is there but never seems to be working

Small but nice park. My son loves it and its next to the library so you can get a book and go take the kids to the park
