Check out our local auto mechanic Roy and Son here in Morton on Yale Ave. They are honest and reasonable, the jeep needs a repair and they were totally honest about how long I can go without the repair and what it would cost. There have been several occasions that he had the opportunity to upsell me on services or parts and didn’t. “I stopped into Speedy Lube off of Greys Ferry Ave to get an oil change and they informed me on the proper oil for my vehicle so i got the oil and they changed all of my filters also the wait wasn't long. The service was great and so was the Mechanic he was so helpful he showed me the cabin filter behind my glove box that looked like it had never been changed before now the inside of my car doesn't have that weird smell. Thanks......Great service there and I will definitely be going back!!!!”

“My first time going here b/c they're so close to where I live and they had pretty good google reviews so I took a chance. I had a good experience with them and would recommend them to others. I had to get all 4 of my break pads & rotors replaced + the front strut assembly's, the front sway bar links and a wheel alignment, so the cost definitely wasn't cheap. However, they know what they're doing, were very professional and quick. Good customer service too. I would certainly go back there again.”

“I always appreciate a Technician who goes the extra mile. I went in for an oil change and a free car wash on a recommendation from a friend. The technician not only completed the oil change but noticed two areas that needed immediate attention. My car had been idling high, running hard and sucking gas like a new born baby being breast fed. Given the fact that the car made an uncomfortable noise I went with one of the two additional recommendations and the sound was gone. The other recommendation given was not addressed at Wash N Lube because that work was done at another shop and apparantly not well. Since it is still under warranty I'm taking it back to get it done right. I definitely love a mecganux/technician who goes the extra mile. By the way the car wash was impeccable. I will be back at Upper Darby WashNLube.”

“I live nearby so I go here to vacuum my car all the time. The vacuums always work really well and they last pretty long per $1. If I set up properly before starting it, I can usually vacuum everything in one go, but it never takes more than $2 to get my whole mini van vacuumed.It's always fairly busy too, both at the self-service vacuum areas and at the car wash, which is a good sign. Even located across the street from literally another car wash / detail spot, I've noticed it's still always poppin'. .Last time I was there, I said, "Why not?!" and gave the drive-through car wash a shot for the first time. They have a few options: you can do a basic $5 wash, a slightly less basic $8 wash, a full $12 wash, or an all-out $15 wash with Rain-X and a bunch of other stuff. I went for the $15 wash because my car was pretty grimey and very badly needed a wash. The $15 wash comes with your choice of an air freshener, from a ton of scent options. They take card payments too, which is very convenient because I was just short the cash and almost left before I noticed the signs saying they take card.The wash itself was very straight-forward. It seems short but you stay in the same spot for a bit while the machines do their work. When you're done, there are dudes who hand-dry your car for you, which is nice. (Don't forget to tip them, btw!)I was definitely impressed! All the dirt and grime on my windows + car was gone. No streaks or anything either. It's been a week and my van is still going strong! She looks amazing. I didn't expect too much going into a drive-through car wash but was pleasantly surprised and plan to come back for sure, sooner rather than later.”
“We bought a car for our 2 teenage boys. It's a 2013 ford escape, elderly owner so extremely low miles for a 10 year old car (35K). We had it for a couple weeks and the engine light came on. My husband took it to Auto Zone on Sunday just for diagnostics. They said it was the thermostat. It still needed Pa inspection done as it was registered in Jersey so my husband called Brad Smith on Monday am to see if/when he could take it. We dropped it off Tuesday evening for Wednesday service. It ended up being just the sensor and being a much cheaper repair than we thought plus inspection. We just picked it up and it's running perfect, and Brad was super nice! He got us in and done fast, was a pleasure to do business with, and didn't rip us off! We haven't used a private mechanic in a long time, just been using the dealers, but we now have a reliable mechanic will definitely be using and recommending him to everyone!!”
