“This place technically only deserves 2 or 3 stars. Its usually very messy and the shelves are empty at times. The prices are not very good either. I gave it an extra star because its very convenient if you happen to be at deer lakes park.”

“Larger than regular Dollar Tree store. Good variety. Not thrilled with the loud verbal request for donations at cash register. They should have something on their card swipe machine for it.”

“This is such a nice dollar tree. The store is always tidy and they get a lot of good things in. Jeffrey who works here is also fantastic. He is always so friendly and helpful when I visit and he’s here. Great store and employees”

“My wife and I visit these dollar stores because of the inexpensive decorations that make beautiful displays in our home. Some items are sold at low prices but look expensive when set up right.”

“Enjoyed the selection of home goods and furnishings. Decent rugs. The Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is there are many items that don’t have prices listed and many sales prices that are advertised there are not currently valid or otherwise expired. In my opinion it’s a more of a high-end DG than others in the general area and worth stopping by for some cute additions to your home. Well stocked.”

“Dollar general is a nice store. They have just about everything you need. I like the products too. The prices are reasonable as well. What bothers me though, in every single store in this particular chain in my area, the isles are overcrowded with items and you can't get through. It looks messy and unkempt. It's also a safety hazard. My suggestion is to always remove ladders during working hours. Create a better shelving display so that items aren't on the floor and customers can actually view the products. What frustrates me the most is when I'm waiting and calling out for a cashier to help check me out. I also don't like when employees get snippy. I understand they get understaffed but you don't take it out on the customers. I believe one cashier should stay behind the counter at all times. Finally, never disrespect an employee by chastising them in front of customers. This causes humiliation with your employees and it makes management look bad. If you have an issue, wait until you have a free moment and take them to a private place where you can calmly explain what it is they are doing wrong. It's not very professional to lose your cool with an employee in front of customers. That is just poor work ethic.”

“The Dollar Tree is an okay store. It's not the dirtiest nor the cleanest store I've been in. They have a good variety of items to choose from and, aside from now charging $1.25 for most items, it's still about the most inexpensive place to get some pretty cool stuff for holidays.”

“The store quality is very good. My wife likes the size of the aisles although sometimes there are stock items not put on the shelves yet. She can still get a very good variety of different products.”

“Kudos to Carol very helpful and great employee. Was in there on 8/11/23 at 12:12 pm and was in line to check out. 2 sales associates proceed to go outside to smoke while there is a line at the checkout... not good?”

“Always full shelves and tons of great buys. Even if they had to raise their prices to 90% of all their inventory, they made up for it by having more brand names than ever. Like with beauty products. Tons of Animal friendly options too which are usually expensive and hard to find at times.”

“This Dollar Tree store is the absolute best that I've been to. It always has totally stocked shelves with so many different items. The people working there are very nice and so helpful. I don't live close to this store, but it's worth the trip there. Thank you, ladies, for all your help today in finding the item I was searching for.”

“Dollar Tree’s products cost only $1.25 each, so I like to stock up on certain household products in their stores. During my visit, I noticed that this particular store had some empty shelves and had fewer products in stock for hygiene and cleaning. As a result, I bought only several products total. The cashier immediately served me and nicely spoke to me.”

“Typical Dollar general boxes in garbage pretty much everywhere that's what Dollar general is all about cheap prices but they never really take care of their stores”

“Everything! I especially like the Dollar General right next to the new Kensington bridge. They are always stocked And always have what I need. Another thing nice about this Store is that everything is always fresh, which is a major plus! I would rather go to Dollar General because it is easy to maneuver around unlike Walmart where you have to walk a mile to get from one end of the store to the other. Kudos Dollar General.”

“I had my doubts about the new manager when she started because she wasn't from the area. Too bad she just told me that she's leaving, she did a good job while she was there.”

3.7 Good70 Reviews

“This Dollar General is fine, and offers the typical Dollar General experience. They're all short staffed because the company is horrid, but they do their best.”

“First of all, the cashier is a sweetheart, and while I was shopping/ checking out, I noticed that everyone that came into the store, she knew them all by name. Nowadays, it seems like it is hard to come by someone who is as kind as she is & it made my day to see that. As for the store, it isn't bad! They had everything I needed & anything they didn't have, they had good alternatives. I have nothing bad to say about the store!”

“I honestly think this store really improved as a company in the last few yrs. I never would even go in one of these stores. When I started driving yrs and yrs ago especially my gram (who never had a driver's license) would ask me to take her into the chiswick store. Back then everything was so generic looking, it looked worse than if you walked into an big lots or thrift store. Now it's like in the last maybe 2 yrs or less they possibly got new buyers? The decor is even adorable and pretty. Ofcourse not ALL of it...but not everything at a high end store is gorgeous either. I used to only get my decor at like Michael's, Macy's, Hallmark, now I even get other ppl holiday gifts (that are part of their decor) for gifts at times. It is alsofast. If u need something for someone quick. This store was also super over priced at one time as well. Now that everything is over priced, this store actually has better prices on some things than Walmart. Especially on paper products . I never thought 2 rolls of papertowels (Walmart brand) would be almost $8?!? I mean what is Walmart thinking?!? Sad thing is, ppl are to lazy most times to go elsewhere and just buy everything at Walmart &feed this problem we have now of Walmart totally ripping us off. Dollar General has really nice toilet paper (their brand) for $5 for 12 rolls. Their bounty essentials papertowels that Walmart had priced for over $12 they have for $5 almost 6. That's the only thing I've seen less elsewhere...I go thru many rolls of paper towels so I need them to NOT be like the ones u find in a school bathroom, but less expensive than most bc of how many I use. Giant Eagle has the bounty essentials for 2 for $10 most of the time. When almost everywhere as stuff less than Walmart...u know something's off. That was the rumor...Walmart would move into the area at low prices for yrs , then all the sudden . ..BAMM! Your getting ripped off?. So hats off to DG for having even better product at lower prices than most places!”

“This place is awesome! It always has what I'm looking for plus more! The store is always clean and isles are never blocked by boxes or debris. There is handicap ♿ parking areas that are close to the door, and several of them are available ?!Cashiers are friendly and knowledgeable about where a product is located in the store!!”

“Clean enough, workers are generally friendly, feels like an old school neighborhood store . I honestly go there more because it is quick and easy if I need any household supplies . I never have to wait in line for long and the prices are decent.”

“I was at the Dollar General by my house yesterday. There was a line, and the employees were laughing, but still working to stock shelves. Some dude behind me complained about them laughing. You can laugh and work at the same time. Also, if there is a self checkout, it was probably installed because there are only a couple of people working at a time. To any customer who behaves like this in a store, unless you are willing to go apply and fill the worker shortage then shut your mouth. You're literally a huge part of the problem. YOU and your stupid complaints are why no one wants to work. Not because of worker laziness, but because of misbehaving, RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE CUSTOMERS!!! Shout out to the employees for remaining professional when people are so impolite.”

“Friday evening; I was planning my backpacking meals for my upcoming trip realizing I needed 'snack' size ziplock baggies! I called the Springdale store, ring several times, & I hung up knowing they are a busy store! Minutes later, they called me apologizing for not getting to the phone on time = GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank YOU Dollar General for GREAT employees!”

“Considering it's consistently open when other nearby Family Dollar stores are closed I find that very convenient especially if I need something but don't want to go to the Shop n Save next to it”

“Dollar Tree sells hygiene products, cleaning products, office supplies, foods, beverages, dinnerware, home decor, toys, pet supplies, holiday decorations, and many others. Products never cost more than $1.25. I stopped in this store to buy mostly hygiene products and snacks as well as some other things. The store could be a little cleaner and tidier. The cashier made friendly conversation.”
