“This market has all the essentials, like flour, sugar, beans, rice, and even salt, in giant bags. We’ve saved a ton of money by buying our pantry staples in bulk from here. If you’re into making your own noodles, breads, and other recipes, you’ll be thrilled that you can find everything and more at Glenwood. Best of all, most of the produce and items are locally sourced.”
“This store is basically a target outlet. It has a lot of makeup, beauty products and clothing, among other item that are sold at target stores. It doesn't have any vintage items like I like, but I did find something that I have been looking for for a long time and for a phenomenal price. The staff who work here are very friendly.”
“In my growing-up years when we needed an affordable place to buy CLOTHING: PANTS, SHOES, UNDERWEAR, COATS, JACKETS, DRESSES for my sisters, & on & on of items we had to have in our household on a daily basis, we depended on ‘KENTS’ DOLLAR STORES’.Today, ‘KENTS’ DOLLAR STORES’ are no longer around, now the best news, ‘DOLLAR GENERAL & FAMILY DOLLAR’ stores have surely stepped in and given everyone affordable items at low costs as ‘KENTS’ DOLLAR STORES’ did long ago.Not only providing CLOTHING and HOUSEHOLD items, but HOME DECORATIONS, KITCHEN COOKWARE, TOYS, SNEAKERS, FOOD and so much more at affordable prices…thank you DOLLAR GENERAL!NOTE: PICTURES OF FAMILY DOLLAR ARE FROM ANOTHER LOCATION.”
“Pretty straightforward dollar general experience, I am curious with all of the self checkouts that dollar general installed, I more often than not see dollar general employees actually stationed at the self checkout and using them as registers-confusing to me. No issues”
“They usually have what I need and great place to shop if I can’t make it to larger stores like Walmart.
Employees are generally helpful and friendly. The store could definitely be cleaner but overall fairly well organized. I would be happy if they would bring back self checkout but right now they do not offer that.”
“Good customer service seems to be more and more rare these days so when someone is kind and awesome at their job I believe they deserve recognition for that! Andrea at the Mercersburg dollar general was just as sweet and helpful as could be! Went above and beyond her duties as an employee to help me! I’ll be doing all my dollar store shopping at this location from here on out. Thanks Andrea!”
“I rlly love this place the employees are so nice and friendly and extremely helpful. Most things are really easy to find. They have Clarence a lot. And most things are very cheap”
“Very good Dollar General store, open till 10 which is good. Only suggestion for improvement which would make this a 5-star is to try getting some fresh fruits and vegetables. Other Dollar Generals have a small section of this”

“Always come here - they have what I need USUALLY.Not everyone wears masks, if that is a concern (and, shouldn't it be?)Seems it is only staffed with one person sometimes....yikes!”
