Shantel or Chantel not exactly sure how she spells her name, but she was just so rude to me. I went to pick something up and she came at me like she was the police and she wasn't even the one waiting on me, so she overrowed the poor sweet girl page, who was actually trying to help me and demanded my id. I've been getting pre-sales for years now. Have never been treated, but like that, by Rosie or Debbie or Diane or any of them. Things you should take a course on how to make a little bit softer with her customers. Or maybe get a job in the prisons where it's okay to treat people aggressive like that or make them feel like they've done something wrong because that was ridiculous and I couldn't have felt more be little. I will go to Bosco from now on.
After many years ago in here, I never thought I'd ever say that, but I just was so embarrassed the way she just treated me. To make it even better, she went over in front of me and proceeded to talk about me to the heavy set girl behind the first counter and then they turned around and both looked at me and couldn't believe it.
Very unprofessional very classless

This shop tried to trick me into getting a Macy’s credit card. They used the word ‘card’ as if it was rewards card I was signing up for and never once mentioned it was a ‘credit’ card.

Love the jewelry and cosmetics dept. Costs me money but great service. In your other areas please shampoo your rugs. That does not look good. Those big marks have been there awhile. Holiday shopping coming...be sharp,

This place is huge, a mall inside the viewmont mall. Large men's suit section and women's clothing section. Bedroom, kitchen, they have a quality and quantity selection. Watches, sunglasses, perfume and cologne. No waiting in lines and friendly staff.

I first started shopping at Macy's in Whitehall, Pa and was happy to see there was one in the Viewpoint Mall in Dickson City when I moved back to the area. I don't know if it's just the one at the Viewpoint Mall, or if they have all changed, but it's nothing like it used to be. Example: I like quality genuine leather handbags. I used to purchase many of them at the Macy's in Whitehall. The store in Dickson City still carried Michael Kors, and maybe one other high-end brand, but that's it. The quality of what they have to offer has gone down. Another example: there is a GE food processor I would like to buy. For more than a year now they have had it on display, but there is never any stock for purchase of the item. Their kitchen/housewares department is almost non-existent. It seems to be more bare each time I go there. There is a lot of focus on clothing - expensive clothing when not on sale - but not on the smaller departments. The store Macy's occupies has always been the "premier" anchor store of the Viewpoint Mall, having been a Hecht's and a Hess's back in the day. Now it is nothing more than a glorified JC Penney's with higher prices.

Deceptive and Fraudulent Practices at Macy’s – Extremely Disappointed
I have always trusted Macy’s as a reliable retailer, but my recent experience has been nothing short of deceptive and downright fraudulent. I placed an order for two items online, which Macy’s unexpectedly canceled without any explanation. After reaching out to corporate, a representative promised to ship the items to me at no cost as a goodwill gesture. I appreciated this offer—until the items arrived.
The items I received were misleading based on their online description. The photos and minimal details provided made the items appear of much higher quality and weight than they actually were. Feeling misled, I went to a local Macy’s store to exchange the items for something that matched my expectations. The store manager seemed helpful and issued the value of the returned items onto gift cards, allowing me to pick out new jewelry.
However, what followed was shocking and completely unethical. Macy’s then canceled my new orders, froze the gift cards, and kept the original items I returned. Not only did they fail to honor their commitments, but they essentially stole the value of the items by freezing the gift cards without any legitimate reason.
This experience has shown me that Macy’s engages in deceptive practices, misleads customers with false product descriptions, and even goes as far as to commit what I consider to be fraudulent acts by denying customers the value of their returned items. I am beyond disappointed and feel completely betrayed by a company I once trusted.
If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, think twice before shopping at Macy’s. What was once a reputable retailer has now proven to be unreliable, deceptive, and fraudulent in their practices.
