About Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple
The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple is a historic and majestic venue. It is a great old theater and an invaluable asset, serving as the premier multi-purpose facility for concerts, touring Broadway shows, comedy, and local productions. The architecture is beautiful inside and out, loaded with history and symbolism. It is quite old and a bit run down, but provides a terrific experience with good visibility to the stage from comfortable seats, especially from the balcony. The venue is also an elegant space for private events. Staff and ushers are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This architectural gem is a treasure and an important landmark for the area.
My husband and I took our grandson to the free Army Band concert. It was wonderful! The Cultural Center really welcomes the bands from the armed forces.

Great structure and theater. Beautiful. Scaffolding all over the front though with renovations and in need of some maintenance

The Scranton Cultural Center is a wonderful place! No matter the event it is always a well run event, and the building has spectacular architecture inside out!
