“I am just starting my journey. I received my box in the mail today and was so thankful. The chemo has dried out my sinuses and has left sores in my nose. The lavender stick in the box was a gift I didn't even realize I needed. It has soothed my sinuses so greatly. The other items in my box are also wonderful. When I'm healed, and my medical bills are paid off, I will be sending donations to this organization. Thank you so very much for this gift box! Sometimes it's the little things that makes the biggest impact!”

“We found this place by chance on a drive and we really enjoyed it. The place was opened to the public and there were volunteers at the entrance that were able to answer questions concerning the once private residence. The paths were very well managed and the gardens (even though still early spring) were lovely. Great place to relax and take in nature. We highly recommend.”

“Some much working expensive with coach by walking his side with David my coach I know for 4 years now it was a lot of happy very much Happy now . In 2022 my friend Hector me and him was always laughing on train, septa having conversations, me being a leader for students back to school. First I was very sad, depressed, and frustrated, and upset but I learn hard way to calm myself down with medicine was on help alot. That's my experience.”

“Our band recently had a gig here and they were very accommodating and the sound system was excellent. Unfortunately, they do not sell or offer food selections, but the bar is very reasonably priced. Also, there is smoking allowed in the building which is not a major issue, but I think they probably should make them go outside to smoke.”
“My family went for a Sunday swim day and they really enjoyed themselves. I got there a little later than everyone but really enjoyed watching my grandchildren have fun. I did get a chance to get in the pool which is a little small but clean. Nice place for families.”
“Didn't get to take full advantage of Philly AIDS Thrift as I couldn't really buy anything breakable (and there is lots of great crockery and glassware) but the clothing section is wonderful, the store has a great atmosphere and lovely staff and I got some great items for a MEGA-IMPORTANT cause. “Saunders Woods Preserve is a 25-acre haven of tranquility for both wildlife and the Gladwyne community. Donated to Natural Lands in 1988 by Dorothy Saunders, the preserve was originally known as “Little Farm” and has long been a place of refuge. The Bridlewild Trail meanders through the preserve, connecting to a network of community paths. Visitors can enjoy a lively forest habitat and an open meadow, which is home to various bird species. The circa-1830 barn adds historical charm and serves as a welcoming space for families, students, scout troops, equestrians, and community members.”

After the procedures, street tails helped us every step of the way during the recovery process and gave us the support we needed to make her the healthy happy dog she is today.”
“I attended PCK 2 years ago and graduated. It was one of the best experiences in my adult life. Not only did I learn culinary skills, I learned and relearned interpersonal skills, updated my math skills, learned to work as part of a team. PCK changed my life for the better. Superb training, great chefs, administrators and other students that I will always be fond of. PCK gives and gives and gives. It is a gift that keeps on giving to their students and to the community. I am a chef now and love it. Im a healthy 63 yr young woman who embarked on a passion...a dream.PCK makes dreams come true. Soon I will be going further with my education...my culinary dream to study more at one of the best culinary schools in the world and continue to use all the positive training and life enhancing experiences I received and gained at Philabundance Community Kitchen. I will always be grateful to the donors, owner, chefs, teachers, and staff and volunteers and fellow students. “Books Through Bars does excellent work in sending free book packages to inmates in Pennsylvania and surrounding states. They're completely volunteer-run & host volunteering sessions for people to help pick/pack books. Volunteer organizers are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend volunteering there! You can just drop in & spend 30 minutes or a few hours, whatever you like. Whenever I volunteer there, it feels like I'm really making a difference in someone's life -- because I am. It's an eye-opening experience that gives me a new perspective. Books Through Bars also takes donations (money, books they need, supplies) so there are lots of ways to support them even if you can't make it down there in person.”

“If you want to give your kids a lifelong love for the game please I implore you to sent them to Legacy. The program for munchkins are well designed for fun and also most importantly the fundamentals in the game. I’m very much impressed with the drills that are used on 4-7 year olds. I wished I had this as a child. The ratio of coach to kids were 1 to 4 on average depending on the day but not more than 1 to 6.”
