I stock up. And I enjoy saving money.Very good service, pleasant people. They always offer to help me carry the cases to my car.My co workers and I have been going to Gywnedd Beverage on and off for 30 years. And I’ve never heard anything bad about them.This is the kind of local business that i want to support.The fact that they lack a big fancy store front on a better piece of real estate is enormously unimportant to me. On the rare occasion I did run into something stale, the staff was kind enough to open the replacement right in front of me to make sure it was fresh. Super helpful team, honest establishment, and they always have what I’m looking for!”

“This review is not so much for what is sold inside the business (I have ne’er stepped foot inside as I’m not a cigar aficionado) but what they have displayed outside. On the two occasions I have passed by this place, there have been several empty cigar boxes outside the front door with a sign that they are free to take. Wonderful variety of boxes in terms of design, shape, color, origin. If you don’t mind the hints of tobacco, consider this a great find!”

“I recently visited one of my favorite cigar shops and was disappointed by the way a staff member handled a simple interaction. It was New Year’s Eve, and Google listed the shop’s closing time as 8:00 p.m., while also noting that holiday hours might differ. I tried calling ahead for clarification, but no one answered the phone.
Because the hours were unclear, I decided to stop by in person to confirm whether the shop was still open. When I arrived, the staff member was speaking with guests and ringing up purchases as usual—nothing that appeared to prevent him from answering the phone.
I politely asked why the phone hadn’t been answered, explaining that I was calling to confirm the hours. His response was, verbatim, “that is Google shit.” I found this extremely unprofessional. As a business owner myself, I would never speak to a customer in that manner.
While I understand this employee does not own the establishment, his response reflected a lack of respect for the business he represents. Customer service matters, especially for a shop that I’ve enjoyed supporting. I’m sharing this feedback because I believe establishments are best served by employees who honor the space they work in and treat customers with courtesy and professionalism.”

“Love this store. Love the giant incense. Still 50¢ea. & they burn for like 3 hours. Always a good selection of bic lighters, all the supplies you could need for a Zippo, nice rolling trays and cigarette cases, and lots of supplies for smoking in public where there's no smoking area: ashtrays on keychains and I like the little clip-ons that kinda look like pens but save a half-smoked cigarette. They're perfect for waiting for a bus or an uber; when it pulls up, you just drop your lit cigarette in it and close the lid and it goes out on its own, no missing your ride while you try to flick the cherry off the cigarette. And no stinking up your bag or pocket or worse yet, the rest of your pack with a half-smoked cigarette. Their cigarette prices were good last time I bought them there, but it's been over a year since I've done that. There's a little bodega nearby that sells them dirt cheap now, so no need to hike all the way out to Rockledge for that. But this place has every smoking related supply you could want. Stuff for cigars and pipes, too, I believe, though I have no use for any of that.”

“Great customer service and great young buck over there, knows quite a lot about cigars and knows every cigar’s price on hand. I went there by a reference today and bought a box of cigars, and got a free cigar too. I would say that I have checked the whole store but things I have noticed is don’t get anything from the clearance section it’s way old items. Other than that have good products and variety of products. I bought vapes for my girlfriend too and got 80k puffs in just 54.99+tax of course. I never knew this store exists in my area i have been living here for 34 years.”

“There's so many smoke shops in this immediate area and after trying them all, this shop is the best of the bunch. Great selection across the board and all their glass products are actual Glass and not cheap platic or fake Pyrex. Staff is awesome too. The owner and staff are super cool and work with you. They don't try to scam or push anything on you. Same, fair, and consistent prices each time. Unless you're looking for something super high-end or very niche, Abington smoke shop is the spot.”
