“Nice hotel adjacent to the country club. Restaurant is a fun atmosphere but feels disconnected from the rest of the hotel space. A small café is in the lobby serving some Starbucks beverages (hot only!). It's near to a giant Target and the Springfield mall in case you forgot to bring something with you.Nice and spacious reception hall available for weddings and other events. The outside garden is rather cramped for a ceremony plus the dumpster clearly visible through the trees makes for an undesirable backdrop.Rooms are nicely appointed with a small bar area, couch with foldaway bed and an ottoman. Turning on the TV shows a screen welcoming you by name. Though we had a view of the golf course and partial view of Tavola's patio, the predominant view we had was of the a/c compressors, electrical panel and random things thrown into a space. An awning over the first half of the space would mostly obscure this area from view. All in all, a nice hotel to stay in.”

“awful customer service , front desk have no customer service skills and front desk manager discriminate me for my accent and without knowing if i have a disability or no . i dont know how they were expecting me to stay in the streets with my family until 3:00pm just because the dont have an option on their website for customers to choose the time they want to check in and they got to choose the time for the reservation , I beleive that if im paying for a certain day to check in they dont need to tell me as a customer when to go in , first time this ever happend to me , i travel a lot and this was my prefered brand of choosing and with this incident i,ll never stay in best western ever again and i wont recommended to anyone never , specially this location , DAWN , YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SKILLS ARE WAY UNDER THE BRIDGE , I'LL SUGGEST YOU TO GET ANOTHER JOB IF YOU CANT HANDLE DEALING WITH PEOPLE OVER THE PHONE AND TREATING PEOPLE LIKE CRAP , BUT I BELIEVE THAT YOUR EGO WONT LET YOU ADDMIT WHEN YOU DO WRONG ..... STOP THE DISCRIMINATION PLEASE THAT IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU OR THE BUSINESS .....”

“This place is a joke when it comes to service. I have been staying here for a week for business and as part of a group. When I first booked my stay as part of the group rate it was 157$/night which at the time included the cost of breakfast. I also found out later that the group rate is about 25$/night higher than the current rate. Which makes sense if breakfast was included. But when I showed up the front desk told me and the other members in my group that breakfast is not included.Throughout the week I have experienced the price of the hotels overpriced food and beverages increase by a dollar randomly. I have also witnessed someone checking into the hotel arguing with the front desk about the price of their overpriced parking permit. The hotel has multiple signs when you walk in that parking in their lot is 25$/day and the front desk was stating it was 30$/day, right next to one of the signs. Also if you come to this hotel parking on the street is free.Overall this place lacks professionalism, their word doesn't mean anything and changes randomly, and has extremely poor customer service.”

“The hotel is beautiful and was very clean. Albdul checked us in, and he did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome. Now, complementary hours were from 5-630pm. They had snacks and cheese and fruit, which was ok. Drinks were included in what you wanted. Now, the bartender that night was NOT pleasant at all. He had a strong chip on his shoulder. I had to ask if he was ok because the attitude was not professional at all. We were a party of 8, and all of us felt the same way. The beer was flat as it was Ina pitcher. Asking for another one from the tap was also a problem. Now, breakfast was wonderful. The chef made it his job to make you feel very comfortable. The morning breakfast crew was full of smile. We did go to the pool which was freezing and we didn't stay long. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Felt safe.”

“I recently traveled to the area to attend the breakfast with Santa event. Not only did it run smoothly, but the breakfast was absolutely delicious! So many options to choose from, even my picky eater was satisfied! My personal favorite was the breakfast potatoes (I’ll be dreaming of those for weeks to come).Kathy made sure we didnt miss any of the activities, Brian checked in to see if we needed anything, and Chef Glickman and Colbert went out of their way to check in on how the food was. The staff was welcoming and patient, resulting in a wonderful event.I highly recommend! Totally worth the trip, if you aren’t local.”

“Big shout out to “Jackie”! The woman at the front desks who actually took the time for customer service unlike the man who checked us in on 2/18/24 @ 3:49 pm. Didn’t get his name. We handed him our REV-1220 form for PA tax exemption he didn’t even read it and said we don’t exempt you for sales tax! We explained it was a federal form for Occupancy tax whereupon he waved it around and handed it back and said we don’t do that. We approached Jackie the next day with the form, who read it and said let me see what I can do. Simple. We checked out and were exempt from Occupancy tax just like that. Thank you Jackie for taking the time! We were on the garden floor, it was quiet and clean. Thanks to Jackie we’ll come back again! That’s who the 5 stars are for.”

“We stayed overnight on our way to NC from NY. The front desk lady was kind, professional, and very helpful in her recommendations on where to order dinner from. The room was spacious, very clean, and a super comfortable bed. I particularly LOVED the desk chair. The shower was awesome, with great water pressure. They serve an awesome breakfast (included). If we ever find ourselves passing thru, we will definitely stay again. Didn't get a chance to swim in the cute little indoor pool...maybe next time.”

“We were in town for weekend hockey tournaments for my two boys, which were 1/2 hour in opposite directions from the hotel. In addition to being the ideal location for all of us to stay together, the fact that breakfast ran until 10am and checkout wasn't until 12pm worked out really well with our tournament schedule. I was also impressed that breakfast included oatmeal, eggs and sausage, instead of just being all carbs. The room was a little dated, but clean, and the beds were comfortable. Looking at the reviews, I did request a room on the opposite side from the highway, which was perfectly quiet. All in all, it was a perfect weekend and I was really happy with our choice of hotel.”

“Due to a late very cxl by our AirBnb, we had to scramble for a hotel for a family gathering. We settled on Homewood Suites primarily due to location, but we found the staff, rooms and location to be excellent. We're ditching AirBnb and this Homewood Suites location will be our new "go to" when visiting family nearby. Well done!”

“I was back home for a few Dr appointments and they were just the kindest, most helpful, and most caring staff I’ve ever met. When one of my health conditions showed it’s ugly face, the gentleman insisted on driving me to my patient first visit. They would check in to make sure I was ok and they just went above and beyond anywhere else I’ve ever stayed. I would recommend this motel to anybody. They just are such a wholesome, beautiful, and amazing staff, that in my honest opinion, you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else except here. Thank you everyone at Trolley Stop Motel! You all are just amazing.Rooms: The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Even able to hook up a console system.Nearby activities: There’s tons of stuff in the area. Springfield Mall, you’re not far from the airport or the city of Philadelphia, and all it’s history and glory. There’s plenty of unique shops right along the trolley line and you’re also not far from Swarthmore falls, Lieper House, the walking and biking trail that runs under the blue route (I-476) where you can find the hidden garden that used to belong to the mansion that was sadly torn down in the blue route building process. It’s just a great place.Walkability: You can walk to nearby mass transit, or through old historic media. Plus the trolley line quite literally runs right out front.Food & drinks: There’s many many fine restaurants and shops nearby and a convenience store directly across the street. Very good location.”

“My overall rating is rating this spot for what it is: a quirky, inexpensive hotel on City Line Ave.The good: really friendly and responsive staff, clean appearance, refrigerator, microwave, and cable in rooms, Keurig for coffee drinkers, price, location, especially for food delivery, easy to get a ride to the Mann. The weird: the turf in the elevators, the aromas that varied by region (all kind of clean and fresh, just different), the uh... white substance dripping from the ceiling of the parking garage ($10/day).The ehhh: if you're used to a decent bed and pillows, you'll be sad. Very uncomfortable unfortunately. It was a hot day and the AC was just okay, so it took a few hours, and just did not get as cool as I like it for sleep.Rooms: Seem to be recently updated, but reminiscent of a flipped house. Fun colors. Microwave, fridge, cable.”

“Stayed here for a friend's wedding, room was nice, comfy big bed lots of outlets drawers counter space nice bathroom, chair/daybed big flat screen, actually working and fast courtesy Internet and working climate control spacious rooms.I've stayed at a lot of hotels and what set this apart was the front desk person I think her name was Sheila. She went above and beyond multiple times. Checked us in fast and smoothed out our stay multiple times being kind generous and sweet. Sheila truly was exceptional, beds and sheets more comfortable than most,Wawa being basically 150 feet away makes for added convenience. Thanks again to Sheila!!!”

“Such friendly, caring and considerate people. Very dog friendly down the street from a park like area for walking. Be careful it's a very interesting location kinda in a plaza, blink and you might miss it.Rooms: Very good sized rooms great big windows huge walk in showers, coffee thing mini fridge and TV we just hook our Roku box up tooNearby activities: I mean Philly is like right there and my goodness is that place cool. Check out layover Philadelphia episodeFood & drinks: Sadly they only have a soda vending machine but a great breakfast if you can eat eggs. There's a restaurant across the street but I would say there are better places to eat not far drive away and again Philly is so close and has all the best food. There's also 2 types of dollar generals right down the block so your good for food and snacks”

“Service is good. For the price of long term parking you get a room and convenience of a 5min shuttle bus to the airport.I think there is breakfast included as well. The only downside is AC. It's either loud or it's cold, because cold air enters the room around it”

“We’re taking a trip to Disney and our flight got rescheduled for 6:30am the next day. Booked a room here on a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with giving us information about parking and the airport shuttle. My one daughter got sick (by no fault of the hotel) and threw up on the bed. Within minutes of talking to the front desk Mamacita was at our room with new linens and a comforter. They even offered a few things to help calm my daughter’s stomach. They staff took care of my family after a long crazy day, and I can’t thank them enough! 10/10 Highly recommended?Nearby activities: Close to the airport.”

“I'd stay here again for sure. The warm chocolate chip cookie sold me, a sweet bonus. I'm bias though, chocolate chip cookies are my weakness. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. Every one of them that I interacted with, from the front desk staff to the folk cleaning the rooms, great. One of the staff that stood out to me was the hostess working the breakfast buffet. Very pleasant, approachable and friendly.I feel bad that I didn't keep her name in mind. I ate breakfast on the morning of March 13, 2024.Rooms: The room was good, basic, but good. It served it's purpose.Clean, comfortable and quiet. The king bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on.Nearby activities: I went to the Navy Yard for an afternoon to check out the decommissioned warships being scrapped. Very cool and only a mile or two away. The Philadelphia pro sports complex's are close also, caught a Flyers hockey game that night. I'm going to try dropping down this fall for an Eagles game. I'm not into baseball but if you are, the Phillies stadium is right there also.I went to the Philadelphia Zoo the next day, first time. An amazing and memorable experience if you are into that sort of activity. A nine mile Uber ride, inexpensive.Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!The small troop of Gorillas were fun to sit and watch for awhile. Their human like mannerisms were a trip.I highly recommend checking out the Philadelphia Zoo.Safety: Look both ways before crossing the road?I'm not exactly sure what is wanted for information from me in this section, lol.Walkability: There aren't any sidewalks anywhere around the hotel to walk anywhere close. There really wasn't anywhere close to walk to anyway. It's next to an international airport and in an industrial area.Cabs and Uber are the way to go if you're on foot and looking to sight see.The Free Shuttle to and from the airport was great.Walkability or lack there of is the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars across the board. Not really the fault of the Hotel.Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet was perfect in my opinion, the hostess working it was great. I wish I could remember her name.I also had the Chicken Tacos at the restaraunt for dinner, which were absolutely fantastic.”
