“My wife, daughter, and I had lunch at The Field Burger & Tap yesterday, and it was an excellent experience. The place was definitely busy, but it’s easy to see why.
We started with the fries and pierogies, and both were absolutely amazing. My wife and daughter split the fish sandwich, and I had the steak sandwich. I switched the regular bun for a pretzel bun, which I highly recommend. For dessert, we had the cobbler with vanilla ice cream, and it was delicious!
The atmosphere is really cool, with a full bar and a great overall vibe. The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch from start to finish.
There were so many other things on the menu we wanted to try, so we will definitely be back. On a side note, I didn’t get a chance to try one of their milkshakes, but they looked absolutely amazing. That will definitely be happening on the next visit!

“I had an exceptional experience at Fine Wine & Good Spirits on South Atherton, thanks to the outstanding service from clerk Logan Herr. Logan went above and beyond to help me find the perfect tequila for a special occasion. His knowledge of the different tequilas was impressive, and he offered thoughtful recommendations based on my preferences.
What really stood out was how patient and personable he was throughout the whole process. Logan took the time to explain the nuances of different selections, and it made my decision so much easier. I left the store feeling confident in my purchase and excited to try his suggestions.
The store itself was clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate, but Logan’s service is what made the experience truly 5-star. I’ll definitely be returning and asking for him again!

“Staff was fabulous. I found what I needed. However, the majority of customers, most of whom appear to be students, are not wearing masks despite the Borough mask ordinance. This is part of the reason why the hospital was having to divert some ambulances to other facilities. ????”

“Pletchers has the best beer selection and prices in state college. They are my go-to place when i want anything other than a domestic 6 pack, and they carry good kegs too! One of my favorite things is to browse during seasonal beer releases (like Oktoberfest), because they always have something I've never tried or even heard of before. Staff are super nice and understanding when you do things like lose your keg receipt! Check them out!”
