“When I went in to pick up my large printing order, I asked Anni if she could help me apply my rewards points. Not only did she do that, she went above and beyond to enable me to apply a coupon I didn't even know existed to my order, saving me more than $100 total. She didn't have to do that, but she did - and when she was having difficulty applying the coupon, she called over a manager to help with the transaction. I couldn't be happier about her proactive actions, which, again, saved me not only the $9 in rewards points, but also the $100 from that coupon. She and the manager both were awesome!”

“We were away on vacation and I received a notification that one of my medicinal packages was delivered to this access point because I instructed any UPS package to be held here. This package required refrigeration until unpacked and placed in my refrigerator. Unfortunately, this location has no official cold storage ability. The employee I spoke to on the phone was kind enough to place my package in their personal refrigerator until I returned to pick it up.

I picked it up today and the enclosed temperature indicator was not compromised. This location went above and beyond to keep my medicine intact and safe. I highly commend so those involved in keeping my expensive medicine viable.

“I've been going to the State College Post Office multiple times a week for the past two years, and I genuinely do not understand the negative reviews. I've lived in several places, and this is by far one of the best post offices I've used.

The employees are consistently friendly, patient, and efficient. Even when there's a line, it's usually because they are helping patrons who are not prepared or need extra assistance. I have watched the employees handle some pretty incompetent people with an incredible amount of patience and professionalism while still keeping the line moving as quickly as possible. A lot of the complaints seem to be about policies that are not the employees' fault. For example, people get frustrated that they have to pack their own packages and use their own tape, but that is standard practice. It ensures you are responsible for what's in the box and prevents disputes about the contents later. Blaming the postal clerks for following USPS policies does not make much sense.

I really appreciate how hard they work, and every experience I have had has been positive. The staff deserves far more credit than they get!”
