We starting sending our two youngest children to KinderCare in January 2021 when our previous center was still unable to stay open as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our son has special needs and they helped accommodate all his services and aides until we were able to place him in a more appropriate setting. Our daughter also struggled with some behavioral issues and staff brought in professionals through the PA Keystone Stars program to do blind observations of the classroom. This was really helpful to her, us, the staff, and all her classmates. We were also licensed foster parents at the time we sent our children to KinderCare. Staff were supportive of their varying needs, visitations, and paperwork for ERLC and CYS payments. We decided to leave KinderCare only because there are some major changes to our son's school schedule and we were able to find an option closer to home. My job is becoming more demanding and the shorter trips to pick up my daughter will be a relief. We are forever grateful to the KinderCare staff and would highly recommend this center to anyone who is in search of caregivers that will truly love and care for your children.

State College KinderCare has been absolutely amazing - the classroom, the teachers, the directors, their communication, the curriculum. I am always informed, get quick responses when I send notes through the app, I get updates throughout the day that always make me smile - I love seeing what my youngest is up to. The teachers know each and every kid well as well as the parents, they have events for the families and take the time to talk with you about how your child's day was. Any of my concerns were immediately addressed and taken seriously.I had was very worried about my daughter starting solids due to several potential food allergies. They took everything EXTREMELY seriously. The director was even kind enough to put me in contact with another allergy mom. Another director takes the time to highlight specifically what my daughter can eat safely each week. We've never had a scare while she's been in their care and that peace of mind is priceless. They are caring, go above and beyond, and are an amazing center. I would recommend to anyone looking for childcare.

I highly recommend this KinderCare center. We recently switched daycare providers and sought out this specific KinderCare site because of the excellent reputation of its leadership and staff. The directors are invested in the well-being of our children and their teachers, always getting into the classrooms to either lend a hand, observe, or give hugs. The teachers are equally as great, following a curriculum that makes learning fun for the children. Parents/guardians are encouraged to be involved, so communication about your child, their classroom lessons, and center-wide events occurs regularly. It is a small, diverse center with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The classrooms are clean and cheery, decorated with the children's artwork, the toys are educational and engaging, and the playground is recently updated and is ideal for little, active bodies. We couldn't be happier.

Kindercare in State College has been a second home for our children! They have thrived and have grown so much. The staff is so kind, thoughtful, and caring. I feel confident that my children are safe as they are very transparent and communicate frequently.Their Covid-19 response has been one that prioritizes families while maintaining high standards and making data-driven decisions. If we could give them more than five stars, we absolutely would!
