Super 8 by Wyndham State College is known for its wonderful staff who are attentive and caring, providing assistance to guests whenever needed. The hotel is conveniently located near Penn State campus and a variety of dining options, making it easy to explore the beautiful downtown area. Guests have praised the excellent breakfast menu, which includes waffles, oatmeal, and a mix of hot and cold items, available from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, along with 24/7 coffee in the lobby.
While the rooms are clean and comfortable, some guests noted that the hotel shows signs of age, with a few outdated features and minor cleanliness issues. Hotel itself was great. Nice rooms. Good parking. Great location. However during my 7 night stay, housekeeping never came to the room. Sheets not changed. Towels not changed. Garbage not emptied. According to the sticker on the bathroom mirror they are supposed to do all that every three days but did not happen.
