“What a great find! We stoped here to rest one of the nights as we were on vacation from Europe and having a road trip across the eastern coast of the USA. We were making our way from the Niagara Falls towards Washington D.C and our scenic route made us stumble upon Penn State (I’m sure this town is more know to US residents) but I digress.
The hotel was super clean, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathroom with the shower and toiletries were also great, and of good quality.
Reception team was super friendly and helpful. We ended up having to extend one more night unexpectedly due to a health emergency which landed us in one of the nearby hospitals. The team ensured that our room was sorted whilst we were dealing with the emergency, and upon checking out they also checked in on us to see how we were doing, which was very thoughtful!
I also ended up using the guest laundry room to wash some of my clothes that got dirty during our trip. The reception provided me with a small detergent packet which was just enough to do the job so I didn’t have to worry about having to buy a big detergent pack from the store!
Overall great stay, and if I ever end up this side of the world and country again will definitely be staying again!
We are now, going to try other Days Inn locations whilst continuing our journey further in hopes that other locations will live up to Penn State branch standards! ☺”

“Perfect place to stay on cross-country drive. Easy access from highway, very pleasant staff, even in the breakfast area, comfortable beds with 4 soft fluffy pillows, and a full variety of breakfast items at the self service area, which also offered a spacious seating area.”

“Very nice staff and decent amenities. I had issues with my room card at check-in, which they fixed. They gave me cookies when I checked in and even poked me via text to see if I needed anything. It's nice to be able to communicate like that during a busy conference!
Mind you, I don't look for much. Hot breaky is nice. Coffee was gross. Shower stall has shower head w/variable temp AND pressure 👌 No bed bugs as far as I could see.
I saw all types here- from young families, retired folks, and students to utility or construction workers. Neighborhood seemed relatively safe.”

“We stayed at the courtyard this past weekend while visiting Penn State University . We were first greeted by a delightful young lady Nejar, so helpful and pleasant in every way. We then needed a few towels and met Estelle upstairs as she was moving like a race horse and was happy to help, she even made a bed in our room that we wanted made since someone else was going to sleep in it later that day ,she treats that place like her own. Saturdays am i went down for coffee and was greeted by a little ray of sunshine with her big smile, her name was Tishaye, she was happy to help as i busted her chops for not having a rain jacket ( she was going to the game and it was raining) and was a student there working to earn her way thru. I can’t say enough about everyone who works there , they were a pleasure. I was happy to share all with there manager .

“A charming budget motel close to everything.
I stayed here for a week during the recent Central PA Festival Of Arts in State College and I enjoyed my stay. As an artist, price is my main concern and the prices are extremely competitive here, especially given the great location.
I will echo with what others are saying....
* Kelly Burns was super friendly.
*The room was nicer, and larger, than expected.
* It includes a free continental breakfast delivered to the room.
* Plenty of parking
* Soft Beds
* Hot Showers
The only downside is that I could never get my room temp 'just right'.

“Our room smelled strongly of mold, but we were able to get a new one which was fine. Interesting thing is this was room 144, same room as another review from 9 years ago saying the same thing. Have they not fixed it in that whole time?”
“Stayed here for Startup Week and it was fantastic. Check in was very smooth. I got there earlier than expected and had to wait for a room to be ready. The lobby area has great seating and strong wifi to connect to for work. The room itself was very nice. They did a recent update and everything was clean. The room itself was spacious and has everything you need. Breakfast was decent and has something for everyone. There are 2 parking garages you can park at for overnight stays and they provide a key card to swipe in and out. Location is top-tier if you want to be close to the Downtown action and get to campus. You can't go wrong booking a room here. Highly recommended.”

“The king suite was awesome! beds were comfy. pillows too. breakfast didn't have many options but it was enough for us to start the day. Staff were very helpful and welcoming to our doggie, with treats. Hotel was clean and well decorated and maintained.”
“It’s a little hard to find if you don’t know where you’re going. You might end up in a parking garage that doesn’t take overnight parking. But our room is beautiful and everything is super clean.”

“I was there for a conference. I called ahead to make reservations for lunch and wad told they don't take reservations and they never have problems seating people for lunches at conference , BUT I was late getting back to the conference (I didn't want to inhale my lunch)”

“I spent one night here recently. The location and condition of the hotel is fine, and the staff is friendly. The one issue was an odor outside my door, which I believe could be remedied by cleaning the carpet. I would stay here again.”
