“We stayed here the evening of January 6, 2024. While driving to NYC, we got hit by a dangerous snow storm on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Trucks were jackknifing on both sides of the highway and cars were stranded everywhere, so it wasn't good. I used Trip Advisor to find a room while my husband drove. The man and woman at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful in getting us some basic toiletries and finding a place for us to eat in State College, PA. The ONLY reason for 4 stars instead of five is that when I called to reserve the room, I notified the customer service person that I was in a terrible storm and needed to get off the phone quickly to help my husband navigate. She did book my room but there was A LOT of unnecessary discussion about joining the Wyndham Rewards program and other irrelevant upselling and information. She was obviously trained to work through the process, but I told her upfront that I was in a treacherous place. Given that, she should have cut to the reservation and let me attend to safety.Safety: It was the middle of a blizzard and they cleared the sidewalks and parking lot constantly.”

“Excellent service and facilities. Front desk worker was very kind.Gym is open 24/7 with a pool too. However the bottom of the pool seemed to be eroding/peeling. Complimentary breakfast was great along with 24/7 complimentary hot chocolate, coffee (fancy machine), and cold bottled water.Very clean, comfortable bed, pillows, and strong shower. The walls were thin, so you can hear muffled audio from neighbors TV. Nothing too bad.But wait, there's more...I left two small pillows and their room service was kind enough to save them. They called us and luckily we were driving through there anyways, so we picked them up.Overall, highly recommend.”

“Clean, well kept hotel and rooms. Staff were friendly both at night at checkin (11pm) and in the morning at checkout. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and accommodating. We had a double with 2 queen beds on first floor. 3 adults and 1 child. Will definitely stay here again as a great halfway point to the coast to visit family! Recommend!”

“Due to traveling with a large dog, I was grateful that the receptionist assigned us to a room on the ground floor. What I found unique was the room did not have an actual clothes closet, but instead an area behind the curtain to hang clothes. Also, I was thankful that the bathroom had a nightlight. As an individual who sixty-four years old, I do have to get up at night to use the bathroom; so, seeing light gave me direction without having to turn on the light on the nightstand. The breakfast was very good; ie, both in selection and taste.Rooms: Very clean!”

“Nice clean room. The pools was great and opened early so I took the kids. Bistro food was solid and worth adding the breakfast to the room. But what I really noticed was the service. We interacted with 5 people during our stay and each person. Was exceptionally gracious, helpful, and genuinely happy. Amazing how much some kindness can kickstart your day. This even included the maintenance man doing pool maintenance getting out some pool toys for the kids.Highly recommend this location.”

“Went to Rodeway Inn State college few years ago, I have to say that I experienced the worst experience I ever had, got bitten by a ugly disgusting bed bug(s), unfortunately I gotten bite marks/rash type itchy from BEDBUGS on my legs and hands when I spend one night at the hotel. Got rash on my legs. Found 2 bed bugs underneath bed covers after I got bit. Could not get good night’s rest all, was wide awake most of the night!Wish I could rate this place a zero! Disgusting! Will report this to health department!Never again will ever come back here!! I’m staying far away from that hotel!Other than that, quiet. Basic set up, bed was not much comfortable. Most part, quiet and nice to sleep. Bed wasn’t comfortable, felt like sleeping on floor! Not worth the money for stay ! Only stayed one night, left the morning first thing after I woke up! Hallway upstairs - smelled strong musty, cigarettes odors ! Not pleasing at all! There was no free breakfast. No coffee. There is ice machine in small main lobby. Hotel staff were very nice and honest. The hotel guy came to my car when I was trying to leave, creeped me out and I told him I’m leaving and not coming back to this hotel ever again!”

“Desk staff was absoultely welcoming and competent. We 100% enjoyed our stay, and found the entire complex to be well layed out and comfortable. I would definitely come again!Rooms: Rooms are nice, a little on the small side, the bathroom plumbing fixtures are about the fail... specifically the tub/shower diverter knob is very loose and won't last much longer.Nearby activities: The attached conference center and indoor pool are both outstanding.Walkability: The activities at the conference center were accessible from the Hotel without having to go outside in the cold or rain. Very VERY convenient.”
