Owen was extremely patient and professional while helping me today for 90 mins as I upgraded 2 phones and 3 lines on my family plan. He took the time to explain all the changes that would happen, and made suggestions that were helpful. At the end, he was even nice enough to thank me for my patients when in reality, he was helping me the whole time. Overall, he turned what could’ve been a bad experience into a very positive one and I appreciate that.

I had a kind of difficult dilemma with getting a new phone because of outside reasons, but Zach helped me and solved the issues! He was very attentive and very friendly, and continued to help me way past closing time. I appreciated it so much!

First and foremost! Expect to be treated poorly! The manager needs to learn better skills on how to approach customers specifically how not to come off as having the"I'm the captain of this boat" syndrome, the first time you visit. What's sad is this is a corporate store!

Sales person wouldnt do anything....straight lazy wouldnt look up information or anything...said it was mandatory to buy a case, screen protector. Lieing about having to buy for a bigger commission.Total bad business

The person who claimed to be the manager of the store (did not get his name) was very nasty to me over the phone. All I was asking for was a bit of patience and a clarification on the differences between account manager and account member and why the account member cannot get a phone looked at or repaired. While I totally get, they are trying to protect from fraud, when you call cutstomer service they ask you for verification of your info and they help you. Now my son is in the store (college student 4hrs away) looking for help so I am on the phone ready to verify my self but instead I have to add him as an account manager giving "keys to the kingdom" so to speak. So naturally I have questions and doubts about this. The manager needs to be more patient and not a j**** I never raised my voice or said anything bad or otherwise. Also filed a complaint against this store with VZ customer service!!!

A store managed by very helpful people.Lincoln and Tony have helped our group in joining Verzion with the best possible deal and worked through the tedeous task of porting from other carriers to verizon.The verizon online support system is the worst. They messed up our case. Would have left the service provider if Tony and then Lincoln wouldn't have stepped up to help us out.

Never again! I don't care if Verizon is the last cellular provider on earth. There is a reason every other review is one star. My experience sounds pretty similar to the experience of the other bad reviews. To be fair, it's not the fault of the folks who work at this store... they are just trying to make a living. Verizon, however is a sinking ship. They have lost network dominance to T-Mobile and their customer support is literally the worst I've ever experienced in any industry. Good luck reaching a live person in less than an hour. After you do get a real person, it may take several people and several sessions to find someone who can accurately explain your bill. I have literally spent over double digit hours to get one bill cleared up. Your bill will NEVER be the same and will fluctuate monthly by~$30 even without any purchases. I could write a book about the bad experiences...

Today I went to the Verizon store on N. Atherton, State College, PA. My (very quick and easy to schedule online appointment) was for 10:00 AM. I arrived at 9:40 and was warmly greeted at the door by one of the managers. He said that someone would be with me quickly. He was. Customer Service representative, JULIAN MARTINEZ, approached me with a smile and sat down beside me. He was FANTASTIC! It is rare to receive such excellent customer service in today's hurried world. With kindness and patience he guided me through the hoops required to transfer an AT&T device to a new Verizon phone, which was a gift from my son. There was no commission involved, as the phone was already purchased 3,000 miles away. Yet, I was treated as though I was purchasing the most expensive device and plan offered. I am an older woman, and, to say that I am not tech-savvy would be a gross understatement. I left Verizon with an activated phone and a wonderful impression of the store and my total experience there!
