“I’ve been frequenting this store for many years now. There’s other shops where it may be easier to park but I always come back here. They have a nice and varied selection. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. They clearly care about the customer and can be flexible if you are a regular, such as ordering a product you may want that is not in stock. If you are looking for a good smoke shop in State College, I highly recommend them. Their customer service can’t be beat!”

“Shopped here many times as a student, but my best experience was as an alum. Ordered a bunch of shirts for my son for Christmas, and the one I wanted has gone out of stock since I had purchased it. When they notified me, I explained that the out of stock shirt was why I chose to purchase there and the one I wanted most. The staff was able to ship my order out without that shirt so that I would have it in time, and then quickly shipped out the last shirt ASAP as soon as it was available. Awesome customer service! ❤️”
“This store is a hidden treasure. I was not aware of this store since it is tucked back into one of the plazas. My mom and I went shopping here the other day and loved it. They have great quality clothing however sizing scale is a little different than I am used to. Sales clerk was super helpful. I will definitely be back!”
“One of the few non-food or bar related businesses downtown that has been there for 10+ years and is still thriving. Anytime I go here there is almost always a line at the checkout. They have lots of cool stuff here. It's a great place to get unique gifts. Urban also has a cool atmosphere and I like how everything is very spread out and it does not feel too cluttered and cramped.

“One of the best takeout place in London. I ordered through their website for takeout and they were super busy with orders. When I was there to pickup food the order wasn't ready but the guy gave me a complementary drink and suggested that they will deliver it my place which was like almost 20 kms. Mariah just wanna let you guys know food is very delicious and you guys are amazing. Will visit again soon:)”

“I’ve been to several Plato’s Closets, and hands down the State College location is the BEST one ever! The team here goes above and beyond to make sure the store is always stocked with amazing finds. You can really tell they take quality control seriously when selecting pieces. Everything is in great condition and they always have brands like Levi’s, Lululemon, and Free People. It’s truly a must-stop shop! On top of that, the staff is so fun and welcoming, and the music is always vibing, which makes shopping here such a great experience. Highly recommend!”

“Appalachian Outdoors is one of the best shops in the area! The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their gear, and the store has a wide variety of equipment and apparel in stock. They have a great selection of outdoor clothes, packs, camping equipment, and shoes in lots of different styles and colors-- the Cotopaxi gear is especially eye-catching. Both times I've been in the staff has been incredibly helpful. A salesperson helped me pick out a great pair of Salomon hiking boots last year, and a pair of "On"running shoes most recently. The running shoes they carry are mostly for trail running, but an employee helped me find a pair of street running shoes that were just what I was looking for. Plus, they have a bunch of cool outdoor games for sale, like frisbees, cards and hacky sacks. Overall, I look forward to stopping in at AO whenever I need new gear!”
