“Best playground around hands down..recently renovated with some of the coolest structures and equipment. The entire family enjoys this playground. And there are picnic tables if you want to stay a while, Plenty of shade, track to run of u choose, and plenty of parking.”
“Chanticleer is an absolutely breathtaking space. Better than Longwood, in my opinion! Do not miss this garden in the Philadelphia area- it’s truly the best one!We love to head to Terrain afterwards (8 min drive away) for lunch and to browse garden goodies / souvenirs :)Picnic area: They have tables near the kitchen gardens for picnics!”

“I am just starting my journey. I received my box in the mail today and was so thankful. The chemo has dried out my sinuses and has left sores in my nose. The lavender stick in the box was a gift I didn't even realize I needed. It has soothed my sinuses so greatly. The other items in my box are also wonderful. When I'm healed, and my medical bills are paid off, I will be sending donations to this organization. Thank you so very much for this gift box! Sometimes it's the little things that makes the biggest impact!”
“We found this place by chance on a drive and we really enjoyed it. The place was opened to the public and there were volunteers at the entrance that were able to answer questions concerning the once private residence. The paths were very well managed and the gardens (even though still early spring) were lovely. Great place to relax and take in nature. We highly recommend.”
“Adoptions From The Heart is an excellent adoption agency. Their staff is knowledgeable and caring, and they truly care about birth mothers and adoptive families. We were impressed with their level of professionalism and attention to detail throughout the adoption process. They helped us navigate the legal complexities of adoption and made the entire process as stress-free as possible. We highly recommend them to anyone considering adoption.”

“Very nice long trail. You may have to cross the road a few times if you walk the whole thing and parking is a little inconvenient. The trail is really beautiful though and the path is paved well.”
“Saunders Woods Preserve is a 25-acre haven of tranquility for both wildlife and the Gladwyne community. Donated to Natural Lands in 1988 by Dorothy Saunders, the preserve was originally known as “Little Farm” and has long been a place of refuge. The Bridlewild Trail meanders through the preserve, connecting to a network of community paths. Visitors can enjoy a lively forest habitat and an open meadow, which is home to various bird species. The circa-1830 barn adds historical charm and serves as a welcoming space for families, students, scout troops, equestrians, and community members.”
“It's small, but there's lot of variety at Hildacy. Trails, open fields of grass, streams...pretty much whatever natural spaces you're into. It's not a popular spot so you can expect some privacy even in summer. Free entrance and parking”

“I recently completed an adult drawing class here with Jo Gamel. I loved the small class size and the balance between technical training and creative freedom. Masks and social distances are are practiced and class sizes are capped. When the weather allows we drew outside. Classes also available for children, illustration, pottery and painting for all levels.”
“Books Through Bars does excellent work in sending free book packages to inmates in Pennsylvania and surrounding states. They're completely volunteer-run & host volunteering sessions for people to help pick/pack books. Volunteer organizers are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend volunteering there! You can just drop in & spend 30 minutes or a few hours, whatever you like. Whenever I volunteer there, it feels like I'm really making a difference in someone's life -- because I am. It's an eye-opening experience that gives me a new perspective. Books Through Bars also takes donations (money, books they need, supplies) so there are lots of ways to support them even if you can't make it down there in person.”

“Great place to go and rest or hold quiet gatherings or conferences. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they make it up by serving some delicious food. Some of the greens they grow themselves and the yogurt and granola they make in house and it's absolutely delicious. The barn worship space is lovely and the vibe is very friendly.”
“This was surprisingly a pretty cool place with a variety of items by clothing artwork and dishware just to name a few. When I first walked in I thought it was just a women's boutique store which a primarily is, But they had a really nice selection of artwork and vintage dishware as well the other side. The store is kind of narrow but there are two sides to it so it definitely feels bigger than it is. Will definitely be back to look for some interesting artwork while my wife shops.”
“Wonderful staff, great place to learn the basics of making jewelry or further your skills with their diverse array of classes. Check their website for current class lists... I just signed up for my third class :).”
“I have earned my GD diploma From this fantastic place. Very nice people and very helpful. I wouldn't achieve my GD without their help. Thank you DCLC For your help and dedication”
“I was a active member of 926 post over 20 years. Great post and people. moved away from Aston out of state. but I'm local again now and I will most definitely rejoin the post in the coming months”
“If you are a senior citizen and sitting alone in your home with nothing to do but read or watch TV, you are missing out on something really great! Journey's Way is the place you need to visit. A senior center with more things to do than you can imagine, this is where you need to come to really start living again! There is virtually something for everyone, and I know this to be true because I have been a member there since 2011. I originally joined to learn how to play bridge but over the years, I've done so many different things there that I have yet to join the bridge group! Music, art, crafts, reading, writing, discussion groups, help with modern technology (computer, iPhone, iPad help), jewelry making, and so, so much more - you really need to stop in and talk to Mark Weber, who will arrange for a guided tour of the place. Some people like to just come for lunch or bingo, and that is perfectly fine, too. Yes, we offer bingo each week, and have delicious luncheon meals every day there. There are many specials that happen at JW as well - far too many things to do to list here! Call or stop in and if you like it, you can join. Membership is not mandatory, but it does grant certain privileges. You do not need to be alone anymore. Come meet and make some new friends and see how great being a 'senior ager' can be.”
“I called in inquiring about summer camp. Ladell ( hopefully working his name correctly) was so professional, knowledgeable, and informative. Not only did he give me the information I requested, but he gave me information I didn’t even know I needed! He’s a real asset to the brand and I hope they acknowledge him for his expertise!”
“I run Activities at a local nursing home. We get our sensory kits here, and our residents love them! The people I've dealt with are wonderful. And every time I've been inside the building they have great programs going on for the local seniors. Great place!”

“One of the better Goodwill stores in the area, far better than the one in Holmes. Sometimes you can find some decent stuff if you browse selectively and have the time to peruse through the inventory.”
