“I’m thankful this is my closest goodwill as I love it! I’m not sure why others don’t like it. I’ve been going here my whole life and almost always walk out with a furniture, homeware, or clothing item. Well organized. Nice staff. Variety of items.”
“A quaint town near Philly, home to an extraordinary hidden gem. The former summer retreat of Adolf Rosegarten Jr. A WWII veteran and hero...features an amazing mile-and-a-half private estate garden with multiple themed pavilions, all wrapped in a serene natural landscape.
Walking through the grounds feels like stepping back into the timeless wonder and tranquility that nature offers. A peaceful escape filled with beauty, history, and quiet reflection.”
“I am just starting my journey. I received my box in the mail today and was so thankful. The chemo has dried out my sinuses and has left sores in my nose. The lavender stick in the box was a gift I didn't even realize I needed. It has soothed my sinuses so greatly. The other items in my box are also wonderful. When I'm healed, and my medical bills are paid off, I will be sending donations to this organization. Thank you so very much for this gift box! Sometimes it's the little things that makes the biggest impact!”
“Such a privilege to have access to a free garden like this! The old cherry trees were surreal in bloom, and the historic house and other hidden gems around the garden make for a nice walk. The ladies working there to greet you at the entrance were so kind and explained some of the background.”
“Well groomed mowed grass trails. A fountain. Beautiful wooded path. Nice views of small hills and dells, pretty old stone houses. There is little level ground except paths along Crumb Creek.”
“Beautiful little nature preserve. It is small enough to go for a quick little hike. The historical buildings and efforts to cultivate native plants make it really special.”

“Very nice long trail. You may have to cross the road a few times if you walk the whole thing and parking is a little inconvenient. The trail is really beautiful though and the path is paved well.”
“Our band recently had a gig here and they were very accommodating and the sound system was excellent. Unfortunately, they do not sell or offer food selections, but the bar is very reasonably priced. Also, there is smoking allowed in the building which is not a major issue, but I think they probably should make them go outside to smoke.”
“My family went for a Sunday swim day and they really enjoyed themselves. I got there a little later than everyone but really enjoyed watching my grandchildren have fun. I did get a chance to get in the pool which is a little small but clean. Nice place for families.”
“I became a student in January ! My teacher Miss Renata has guided me and given me the tools to motivate me to complete my test and is an amazing teacher. All the staff is great . I will be getting my diploma way sooner then I thought and will be able to walk in graduation with my class in June when I thought I wouldn’t even have the stuff completed until the end of summer. That is all thanks to not only my self but my support people at Delco Literacy including Miss Renata Ms Wazma and Ms Jen ! Thank you all for all you have done to encourage and push me !!!!”
“Books Through Bars does excellent work in sending free book packages to inmates in Pennsylvania and surrounding states. They're completely volunteer-run & host volunteering sessions for people to help pick/pack books. Volunteer organizers are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend volunteering there! You can just drop in & spend 30 minutes or a few hours, whatever you like. Whenever I volunteer there, it feels like I'm really making a difference in someone's life -- because I am. It's an eye-opening experience that gives me a new perspective. Books Through Bars also takes donations (money, books they need, supplies) so there are lots of ways to support them even if you can't make it down there in person.”
“I got to meet my new PCP today and Madison is great! Attentive, kind, and really open to understanding her patients. ACG Health has been like family to me for almost 10 years, and they’ve always looked out for me.”
“Really have enjoyed learning, becoming a member, and eventually teaching at TLS. Everyone is incredibly kind, encourages artistic expression and development, and their passion stems as much from creating as it does from learning more themselves. Take every class you can!”

“I took an oil painting class here and loved how this became my little oasis during the work week! Jo Gamel is uplifting, informative, and just a fun vibe to be around! I learned how to use new mediums, the science behind oil and acrylic paints, and brush structures. Would 100% take her class again”

“Great place to go and rest or hold quiet gatherings or conferences. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they make it up by serving some delicious food. Some of the greens they grow themselves and the yogurt and granola they make in house and it's absolutely delicious. The barn worship space is lovely and the vibe is very friendly.”

“I called in inquiring about summer camp. Ladell ( hopefully working his name correctly) was so professional, knowledgeable, and informative. Not only did he give me the information I requested, but he gave me information I didn’t even know I needed! He’s a real asset to the brand and I hope they acknowledge him for his expertise!”
“I run Activities at a local nursing home. We get our sensory kits here, and our residents love them! The people I've dealt with are wonderful. And every time I've been inside the building they have great programs going on for the local seniors. Great place!”
“For anything I and my family have needed the Chabad of Delco has always been there. They are the most wonderful family and have fun and engaging events. Always trying to make this world a better place.”
“I love stopping by locations like this because you truly never know what treasures you might find tucked away on the shelves. This specific store was surprisingly well-organized, with clothes sorted by color and size which made it so much easier to browse without feeling overwhelmed. I managed to find a couple of high-quality kitchen items and a cool vintage jacket that were both in excellent condition and priced very fairly. The staff was busy restocking but still took a second to point me toward the housewares section when I looked a bit lost. It is a great spot to spend an hour hunting for a bargain while knowing your purchase is going toward a good cause.”
“I do water aerobics here three times a week with Arlene as my instructor, and I must say she is the best! Friendly, energetic and always make our class fun! Also Chris is great too, always friendly and very helpful. I love this Y!”

“I went on two separate field trips at CADES my eight grade year. If I had to sum up my experiences with this organization, I would say it was genuinely wonderful. My first trip to CADES I spent several hours in a classroom with other teens in my age range. While there I met many splendid young men and women and shared more laughs and smiles than I can count. After how great my previous experience was, I'm sure you can guess just how ecstatic I was when I learned my class was invited to attend and help out at CADES' field day. During the field day, I spent most of my time at the lower gym playing soccer and basketball with the kids, mainly soccer. I had so much fun just watching the smaller kids having fun. To be honest, after my trips to CADES, I feel a certain conviction to volunteer work that just wasn't present before. Thanks to the inhabitants, and wonderful faculty at CADES, my life has been given a new perspective. Now, as a freshman in high school, I plan to explore different ways to volunteer, and to check out my school's mission and ministry club in the future. CADES is a wonderful organization and I wish every student, inhabitant, and volunteer the best going forwards.”
