540 Sterling Rd Route 196, TobyhannaComing down from upstate NY, we needed someplace to eat after driving around 2 hours. We decided to stop here and it was phenomenal. As soon as we stepped in, Darryl and the young lady there greeted us. Since it was out first time there he answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions on what to eat. We decided on the whiting and shrimp combo that came with fries, an order of catfish, hush puppies and a couple of sides. My lord he was not lying when he said the portions were huge. I wish I had taken a picture, but we ate it up as soon as it arrived. The food fed a family of five and we couldn't even finish the sides. All of the seafood was freshly fried when ordered and tasted really good. Everything was well seasoned and crispy. You could taste the difference in the fish and my favorite was the whiting, while the rest of my family loved the catfish. All the food was good enough that I didn't even need any sauce or ketchup. Hush puppies were amazing too!First time here and I wish it was closer to home, but if I'm in the area, I'll be back.

The Mug Café
1050 Memorial Blvd, TobyhannaThis is a cute and quaint little cafe with excellent customer service, amazing aromas, and lots of books for your enjoyment. The cafe is located inside of a wellness Center so if you're looking for a massage or to decompress this is the place to be. The acai bowl was perfection (and nut free)! I would absolutely return. Be prepared to wait because it is a small cafe and a crowd favorite. I can promise it is worth the wait and the customer service was 10/10! We tried the acai bowl, orange latte and vanilla bee latte. They were excellent and tasted fresh. They also have delicious macarons.
