“I cannot say enough good things about Gregg and his daughter. They helped me out with my sons handicap van. I spoke to Gregg after getting a quote from a local Dodge dealership. I originally took it to the Dodge dealer in Delco for a transmission problem.
They said I needed a new transmission after receiving a text through their automated system. Replace Transmission: Accept or Decline: $9000, is how it came across, no explanations of why I needed one. I went to Russ's and explained the situation to Gregg and he said get it towed here so I can look at it, this doesn't sound right. It wasn't. It turned out to be a module within the transmission just as the code had indicated. He replaced the module and it has been running fine ever since.
I cannot say how or why the Dodge dealer came up with a total replacement, but I saved my son and myself thousands of dollars by making the trip to Russ's. Not only that, he truly seemed to care about getting my son's only means of transportation back to us quickly since it is so specialized.
After I reached out to the owner of the dealership as it says to do. You would think you would want to know about such a bid mistake. No answer as of yet.
