I'd give five stars, but you don't have to drain the whole canal to mitigate flooding. The canal has fish living in it... when you drain it, they die. The epitome of laziness.

Great for running and biking. Might as well do all 141 miles :-)

Great trail, well maintained for the most part. Unfortunately a bridge out at Lumberville has no signs posted for detour at closest trail access points
