About Kennedy park
Kennedy Park is a family-friendly location with two playground areas, one older and one newer, that are clean and well-maintained. The park features very clean restrooms and is dog-friendly, requiring visitors to pick up their mess. It is situated in a convenient spot, close to fields for kids' sports, a Dollar General, and a primary school within walking distance. However, the park lacks shade, making the benches and slides hot, especially during sunny days. There are no picnic benches, but overall, it provides a nice space for children to play and families to enjoy.
Skatepark is literally nothing it’s a broken ramp and a metal box not a ramp box just a box. I also has a rail. Skate park no longer exists (circa 2025) playground is ok

Nice park. My Granddaughter has fun there, however, like most other parks, there is NO SHADE! The slides get so hot the kids can't use them. Even the benches are in the blazing sun.
