Why two star?
1. They need more pumps.
2. One pump also was broke. The line behind me was so long! I felt bad for them. Please put more pumps in.
3. Also the pump that I used (the one on the far back right side) was so slow. It took 20 minutes to pump 42.071 gallons of gas.
4. It also did not ring the receipt🧾.
5. They were out of paper towel as well.

Could not get in for gas. Semi was sleeping in the entry blocking the road.

For the location of this place you would think it would be 24/7 or at least operate at a decent time being that everything is closed still at 630 in the morning is a little ridiculous Burger King n Starbucks obviously don’t know how to operate a business so in my opinion only thing this place is good for is a quick pit stop to bathroom n then move onto a better service plaza

I guess the manager of the store does not care for payments machines as they run very slowly creating lines of the customer

This Sunoco gas station is in the Oakmont Plum Service Plaza on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. It is in a convenient location for me to fill up my vehicle for my road trips. During my visits, many gas pumps were open, so I did not have to wait to use a gas pump. The pumps worked, and the prices for gas were similar to what competing gas stations charge.

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with this company. During my visit, I faced unacceptable behavior from a cashier who raised her voice aggressively for no reason other than I didn't fully understand the local language. To make the situation worse, another employee, apparently his friend, found the situation amusing and started laughing, which made me even more uncomfortable.
As a tourist looking to discover and appreciate the country, I expected a more respectful and professional reception. The disrespectful attitude of both employees was disappointing and I suggest that the company reevaluates its team's conduct to improve the experience of future customers.

Why are the people that use these facilities on the turnpikes always so darn stupid can't park can't queue for fuel line don't know how to yield or merge when leaving the facility

The Sunoco company is a distributor of fuel across the United States and parts of Canada, and it has a deal as a fuel supplier at travel plazas along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. This Sunoco is located at the Oakmont Plum Service Plaza. My husband and I needed to fill up our gas tank for a small road trip, and this Sunoco was conveniently located for us. Many gas pumps were open, so we did not have to wait. The prices for gas were roughly similar to what competing gas stations charge. The gas pump took a normal amount of time to fill up our tank. We experienced no problems at all.

A CUP OF ICE COST MORE THAN A SLURPY. A CUP OF ICE. plus the staff are the rudest ppl I have ever met. Fire the old guy he should not work in service. Take some pride in your location. This place should represent you, Pennsylvania. You should be ashamed of the way you treat your ppl.

For all intents and purposes this serves its purpose. Albeit in an awkward way. The Sunoco is located near the entrance back onto the turnpike and can create a bottleneck for traffic.What's interesting is the way the pumps are situated. Loads of trucks like to park on the one end of the station and nearly block the pumps. However, dependent on where your tank sits on your vehicle will dictate where you need to pull up to the pump.Because of this, my tank is on the driver's side. Every single pump, if you want one where you pull into the station was taken. So I had to go around and face the opposite direction of the flow of traffic. I even had a trucker roll down his window and chastise me for doing this. Listen buddy, this isn't Costco or Sam's Club, there are not signs saying I can't do this.Not the best on pricing. Turnpike gas prices are a few cents higher than when you have options. Being the only option on a limited access highway you don't have much room to complain. Just make it easier to use and enforce where vehicles can park.
