One even tried to tell me I needed an additional $1200 shifter. Army's transmission, friendly, always available for questions, accommodating. And no need for an extra $1,200 shifter.”

“Mr. Nelson has been great to work with I took my van in for the transmission to be rebuilt. The dealer quoted $6400 after the initial diagnosis but Mr Nelson quoted a few thousand less with a great warranty attached to the work. He wasn't the lowest bid of 3 but after talking on the phone and meeting him the choice was clear.. being a father I needed the van and he had the work done in a week, he even came in on Thanksgiving to allow me to pick up the car. I will be using Nelsons for any future transmission work, on any of our cars. Thanks again!

“Sitting in front of Aamco right now writing this review because I don’t want to forget, they were such a pleasure to work with and very responsive and helpful. Worked with my warranty company, I gave them the number and they handled the rest. I needed a new transmission and they had it done so quickly. I had one small issue with a leak once I got it back, but it was a very minor issue and they were able to fix it in an hour. I saw some of the other reviews on here and was wary, but I would not listen to those reviews as they are people who are unhappy with their warranties and not this great shop. Thank you Brad and team at Aamco Penn Hills!”
