About DoubleTree by Hilton Washington Meadow Lands Casino Area
DoubleTree by Hilton Washington Meadow Lands Casino Area is a hotel known for its very clean and great rooms. The standard rooms are spacious, with a nice large set up, and feature upgraded bedding. The staff is frequently praised as one of the best, with everyone being friendly, organized, and ready to help with a smile. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the casino, which is a popular amenity. It is also a recommended venue for weddings and events, with teams dedicated to creating smooth, seamless, and magical experiences. The venue is stunning, service is excellent, and the food receives high praise from guests.
The property is currently undergoing renovation. While some rooms are recently upgraded and nice, public spaces can appear dated. During renovations, there can be construction activity and things may look not put together. Some issues have been reported, such as amenities like toothpaste being unavailable, advertised kitchen features like a microwave missing, and occasional maintenance oversights. Conditions in common areas, like snowy walkways not being shoveled promptly, have also been noted. The price is considered quite inflated compared to other area hotels, with the exceptional cleanliness often cited as the primary justification for the cost.
I attended a conference and was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and the food. The food was excellent and the rooms were decorated well and although you have a view of the parking lot and road, it was really nice to have the sun shining into the room!
