Giant Eagle Supermarket has been serving shoppers since 1931, offering a wide selection of fresh, high-quality foods at everyday low prices. Customers appreciate the variety of products available, including locally produced items and organic options, along with services like in-store pharmacies and grocery pickup. Many enjoy the myPerks loyalty program, which allows them to earn rewards on purchases and save on gas. While some customers value the extensive stock and the ability to find items that cater to a varied diet, others have mixed feelings about the store. Complaints include higher prices compared to competitors and frustrations with the self-checkout system, which requires a Giant Eagle card. Some shoppers have noted that the store can be clean and well-stocked but feel the employee morale could be improved. A highlight for many is the Scan Pay Go self-scan and checkout system, which allows for a fast and convenient shopping experience. However, others prefer traditional cashier lines and express concerns over the outdated self-checkout system. Overall, Giant Eagle remains a staple for many shoppers, particularly those in the Pittsburgh area, despite some criticisms.
The store was clean. A Giant Eagle card is required for self checkout which was very annoying. I had to wait in a line to purchase my two items. Prices are high. I'd probably find another store to shop at if I lived in the area.

Very nice and clean. We enjoy sitting while drinking a cup of coffee at the Cafe area.

This may be a nice enough grocery store. But the restrooms smell like a zoo.
