“This is really a big store. It is hard to find things with the new layout. Most of the staff I met were professional and was happy to help me. Only complaint.... Walmart never have enough checkouts and self check were filled with people with baskets full of items. Lines were so backed up it was wild. No one was very happy about the wait. This was the holiday weekend and short staff is not wise.”

“We do a lot of curbside pickup and delivery for our groceries, but there are a few things we prefer to pick out ourselves. The feature of Giant Eagle that I like the most is their Scan Pay Go self scan and checkout system. It is so easy. You scan your card to get a scanner, you scan your items as you shop, put them into your bag, and at the end you go to the dedicated checkout kiosk and scan the barcode. You then pay for your groceries, get your receipt, and walk out to your car. I'm surprised so many people prefer to stand in line at the traditional cashier lines. It saves so much time! Having a dedicated scanner instead of using an app on your phone is easier to handle and you don't need to worry about dropping it. I'm definitely a fan.”
“I've started coming to the Washington Sams for gas and curbside pickup. The gas station is away from the parking lot which greatly reduces the hectic driving of the parking space seekers. The curbside experience has also been very good. They have consistently been able to fill each item on my order.”
