Pulled up to Marty’s on a Saturday without an appointment and they were able to get me in and out within a half hour. Would absolutely recommend, especially if you’re in the city and want somewhere quick, reliable, and responsible!!”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment!! My college student’s car passed inspection (at a place near home) but they told us the rear brakes needed to be replaced. They were headed back to school so I called a well known chain near campus that was running a “brake special” and after looking at the car they told me it needed over $1700 worth of work. I declined and sent her over to pick up the car—when she went to pick it up they told her not to drive the car more than 25 miles without bringing it back in to have the wheels tightened….WHAT??? Enter Wynnewood Park Service. I called and spoke to Dennis who patiently answered all my questions and scheduled an appointment to look at the car. We had to reschedule the appointment due to the snowstorm, but they looked at the car this morning and it needs….NOTHING—at least not right now. He said the brakes will need replacing but not immediately and that I could safely wait til later in the spring/summer to do the work. He also gave me an estimated cost that was far more reasonable than the first place. As a single mom with a college kid on a fairly tight budget I deeply appreciated his honesty and his explanations of what he found and what would be needed. It was refreshing to work with a shop who operates with such integrity!!!! This will give me time to budget for the work, rather than having to put it on my credit card and I will ABSOLUTELY be returning to Wynnewood Park Service in the spring to have the work done before graduation!!”

“My two digit iq self 'skidded' onto a divider hump with a pole sticking out from the ground and sheared the transmission cable housing off my 2002 honda and wasn't able to properly shift into gears. I was told that i needed a whole new transmission by one of my fellows and was offered to have my car to get a new one by couple of people. Search on google and saw mainline. I called them up and was greeted kindly, explained what happened, sent my car there and was told that i only needed a new cover housing and gave me the part number to order. Got the part, they took care of it, car drives like how i got it. They couldve easily ripped me off, but they didn't. Thank you mainline.”

“PA Tire and Auto is BY FAR the best place to take your car in the area. I had a nail in my tire and brought it in to them. Bram, the manager, called me almost immediately after to tell me that all four of my tires were completely dry rotted way more than he had ever seen on a new car that had less than 18k miles. He encouraged me to call the manufacturer and go through the warranty to get them replaced. Bram could have lied and told me the state of my tires was on track for the lifespan of them, and sold me 4 new tires. But he didn't do that- he was honest and transparent and told me to fight for a warranty because I deserved it. No only that- Bram spent probably a few hours on the phone with Yokohama himself when they demanded to speak to a mechanic who had seen and measured the premature rot in my tires. All the while, he knew his shop wouldn't be able to carry out the warranty themselves because they are not a dealership, which would be authorized to do warranties with this specific brand of tire. In short, he encouraged me and helped me get a warranty on my tires because it was in MY best interest to do that. It wasn't in his best interest or the shop's best interest but he did it anyway. He has integrity and an admirable work ethic. He was so patient and kind that he has won a customer for life. Thank you for everything, Bram!!!”

For a very fair price and in two days, the mechanics at Tropical Auto Repair replaced my radiator, alternator and belt on my 2008 Toyota Highlander. She is running like a gem again! They have always taken the time to explain the issues with the car and what options are available. What makes it even better is that it’s not a chain. It’s a family owned business. “This shop is great. A few months ago, my engine light came on and Steve tried the least expensive route first (he said it could be a few things based on the diagnostic code) which worked. He could have ripped me off and tried the most expensive route, which I would have never known because I know zero about cars...but he didn't. I ended up spending $200 overall for the fix which was way less than I anticipated. Recently, I was in an accident which I wasn't at fault and he walked me through the steps on how to get my claim adjudicated with the other person's insurance. He was very helpful.”
