This is my favorite of the area's Natural Lands preserves, as it has a pebble trail along the main stretch that is good for kids. Plus additional trails over grass and through the woods. The creek is pretty too, and one of these days I'd love to go tubing in that!

It's a great hike. The preserve is beautiful with multiple different environments. You can choose a trail that most meets your preferred difficulty. The toughest trail isn't that tough but still gives a moderate workout.

Nice preserve for a run or hike! I completed the red loop which took a little under an hour and a half. I would recommend bringing lots of water and wearing sunscreen, as most of the trail is not shaded. Elevation changes throughout the hike that got me a little winded but overall the hike was not difficult. The trails are very well-marked and maintained. Most of the parking lot was full when I arrived Tuesday late morning. I would probably come back for another hike.

It's hard to find a more ideal spot for a walk in Chester County. You have your choice of big sunny trails and fields, some nice wooded walks, and even creekside views. Great for bird watching, dog walking, and fishing. The fishing is catch and release but given the level of pfas found in the Brandywine that's all you ought to do. Lots of trash cans for dog waste. Parking can fill up but there are other hiking trails and nature areas in the areaDog-friendliness: Lots of trash cans for disposal. Nice wide trails so friendly dogs can say hello and not so friendly dogs can be given a wide berth. You don't run into so many of that second category. All dogs must be leashed.

Beautiful place beautiful animals, maintained extremely well. It is perfect for an easy to moderate walking trail, no bikes are allowed, and dogs are to stay on leash. There are horses walking the trails to fun to see! If it’s sunny I would definitely suggest a hat and sunscreen depending on where you start there isn’t much shade.

This is a fantastic place to go for a walk, or have a picnic. Well maintained, and out of this world veiws of the surrounding area. One of the very best around. (Parking can be a pain during peak times)

Great place to walk with the kids. Sometimes you may see horses on the trail. It's mostly in the sun, so bring a hat or sunglasses, it gets hot even on cool days.

Beautiful spot with a variety of walking trails including a gravel path. Lots of other places to wander - by fields and through woods. Stop at Four Dogs after for a bite and complete a fun afternoon outing!
