“I meandered into Dr. Tumblety’s on a whimsy and was absolutely blown away. First I was welcomed with an introduction to the stores namesake and then given a tour of a few up and coming additions including a beautiful distillery and a speakeasy called The Storyville Lounge. The speakeasy was incredibly curated with beautiful vintage decor meticulously collected. I enjoyed their Sazerac and felt transported into a different time. This is an absolutely unique and welcoming hidden gem that deserves the main stage in Pittsburgh”

“Was visiting Carson Street with no real agenda other than to find a record store and stumbled upon this absolute gem of a store! I had to walk in and was transported to a different place and time. Amazing stickers and patches filled with nostalgia. An incredible line up of clothing and jewelry. The staff was very attentive and kind, spent a little time talking to the owner, great dude! After a purchase I just couldn’t walk out the front door without, he offered us free gifts on the way out on top of the root beer barrel candies! What an experience! I can’t wait to come back with more money and time!”

“Fantastic little shop! The Prom Place is a no frills little boutique off the beaten path. It’s such a refreshing break from the loud hustle bustle of some of the large, fancy shops. They have a nice selection of quality dresses which they care for meticulously. They accept customers by appointment only and provide their undivided attention to the customer. “I am very happy that I went into BFF in Etna, PA. I have rode by the shop many times before but never had a need to go in and explore. My daughter started baton twirling and this was the perfect place to go to order her baton. I received a prompt return call and had flexibility with scheduling my measurement appointment. The shop was clean and organized with beautiful dance decor. I was greeted immediately and made to feel very welcomed! The owner was extremely personable and very appreciative for my business! She took time to properly measure my daughter for her new baton. She even allowed my curious child to explore around the shop while answering her many questions. The ordering process was easy. The shop owner had many example baton to help me pick our desired style. I definitely recommend BFF. Small business/down home service at its best!”

“I really liked this Hot Topic. They had an interesting selection, better than other locations I visited, but what stood out was the staff. They were really into their jobs and this one lady working there was awesome. She was talking with me about interesting horror genre stuff and I really got along with her, also she pointed out some neat vampire shirts to me. She told me about what the store was selling without being overly pushy about it, which I appreciate, unlike some other store's sales associates are at that mall. I don't remember what her name was but I really hope they promote her or something there, what a really cool person.”

“Rather than go with the big box tuxedo rental (Black Tux, Men’s Warehouse, etc), I decided to go to Joseph Orlando for my and my groomsmen’s wedding suits and we could not have been happier! From the very beginning, Joseph Orlando was receptive to the idea and worked through the different options and the best way to get us all measured and tailored so we were looking sharp. He even worked with multiple members of the wedding party that lived half the country away to ensure they got a perfect suit for our big day. I can’t thank him and the store enough, they were great to work with and we all ended up with a great looking new suit rather than the sloppy rentals from the big box stores. “Rally House is a chain that sells merchandise for sports teams (e.g., shirts, hats, mugs, flags, and gloves), and it has stores across the U.S. This particular store is located on the North Shore of Pittsburgh. My father-in-law wanted a particular Steelers jersey. This jersey was sold out at competing businesses, but this Rally House had it in stock for the usual price. I ordered the jersey through their website, and a store employee soon shipped it through USPS Ground Advantage. The next day, the USPS delivered the package to me. The store employee had packed the correct product and the correct size. My father-in-law enjoys this jersey very much. I feel thankful that this store sold it to me. Please note that I have not visited this store in-person recently, so I do not know how the employees communicate.”

“I've been traveling this way for years now and never knew this place was in Swiss Alpine Village. What a little diamond!!! Stopped there for the first time this weekend. Absolutely LOVED it!!! I really liked the style of their clothes and could have spent a fortune there because everything was so stylish and a bit on the different side. Got a cute jacket and a casual top. They have a nice selection of items.
