No quality control in-store. Thank goodness we spotted it before we ate any of it. I don't know how anyone could allow this to happen. They are definitely missing some things and nobody cares. We are all just funding giant eagle. Tired of the lack of products and garbage they sell. Over priced. Did I mention the turds in the wonder bread.

I had such a positive experience shopping here today. I have the habit of intentionally leaving my cart at the end of an aisle, parked out of the way, to avoid congestion. Well, today, during non-peak hours on a weekday, my cart went missing. I realize sometimes I DO forget where I leave it but I looked several aisles in each direction for naught. Seemingly looking perplexed, i made eye contact with a friendly employee and explained. I went on looking because maybe a clerk thought the cart was abandoned or maybe someone thought it was their cart. As I was about to give up and nearly resigned to start over (I was nearly finished with my shopping) here comes that friendly nice employee with my cart! He had found it clearly somewhere I had not left it. Haha. I get it. Somebody accidentally grabbed my cart and by the time they realized it, they left it where it was. But, oh, how nice not to have to start over. Adding to that? My cashier was extra pleasant asking about my day.. And topping it off? Another pleasant and smiling employee greeted me at my car and took my cart while offering pleasantries. Yeah, yeah, this isn't every day and I could complain about prices or a cashier's off days. Not today. Not here. Today was a stellar day and I am grateful. When someone smiles, ya smile back and that interaction lasts much longer than the moment.

answer your phones and stop hanging up on people that wait for 30 mins to speak to someone at the pharmacy. I wasn't mad that I had to wait a little but I was mad that they kept hanging up the two times I called. I spent an hour of my life waisted with no answer to my question

The pharmacy has to be one of the worst in the area. Was told my prescription would be ready today after one. I called to be told it would be ready in two hour’s. I go to pick it up guess what it’s not ready. Was told to more hours and that someone called off. Also every time I call I get an attitude from the staff. One time they put stickers all over my bag and bottle saying 24 hours in advance for refill.

Staff is almost always friendly, biggest issue, SO FEW staff working. Wed 1/20 at 5.12p, 2 registers with staff and only 1 self-serve. Express is not even open. They have 4 self-serve, but never never have more then 2 open at a time. Open more self-serve or have more staff, management on checkout. This is not the first time, just the format time I was in line long enough to type this.

It's pretty bad when you have to leave the customer service desk at one Giant Eagle to call another Giant Eagle customer service desk to get the answers you need about bus passes. First I had to look it up myself on my phone. When I showed her what I wanted and asked if I could purchase it, it produced a "duh." She clearly did not care to help me figure out how to give me what I was looking for. All she had to offer was "I don't know. I don't ride the bus." So I left to call another Giant Eagle customer service desk from my car, got my answer then went back in to make my purchase. Why are you working customer service?? Learn your products!

They need a New Manager and Corporate needs to put themselves in check. We have shopped there for over 20 years and enough is enough. We have watched people walk out with full carts of groceries without paying, employees and customers on the night shift have inadequate security. I have contacted Loss Prevention from Giant Eagle, spoke with Managers, past & present, and called Corporate. Yet everything remains the same and gets worse. Prices continue going up and the rest of us pay for it! Shop N Save is our new shopping location and not only did they lose us as customers, we have a large family. None of us will shop there moving forward!

Dirty store. I only go to this store if I ran out of milk. The produce in the past has been filled with fruit flies. My son's home as well as ours became infested with fruit flies from bananas bought there. Never buy their produce. You mights as well drive a little farther to one of the other GE. You would be better off.

I shop at this giant eagle only when I don't have to purchase items at the deli counter. The older woman there is very ignorant and could not care less about the customers. If she is slicing something for the deli case she will not wait on customers, no matter how many are waiting for service. She stands there defiantly with a stupid grin on her face. Other people in line voice similar complaints among each other. I find myself going to Mountainview or Waterfront more and more and find the experience much more pleasant and faster. This woman is driving customers away from this store. She should be working some place where she doesn't interact with other people. Never Again

Meh. Come here for stocking your pantry. I prefer Squirrel Hill Giant Eagle to this one. There, you have more non everyday selections. They have chard and broccolini. This place is lacking that stuff.
