I used to love GE pharmacy but ended up leaving because the wait times were so long. Moved my scrips to another pharmacy and then ended up coming back here when that pharmacy closed. Unfortunately, only got worse… the staff will pick up the phone and just hang up without saying a word, when you do get through - the staff makes it seem like you’re a bother, say they don’t get scripts when your drs office tells you they received a confirmation of receipt, the staff speaks down to you, the wait times are still beyond long. I could deal with all else except the rudeness of most the staff. It’s unfortunate!

Another business that puts profit over customers.
They sent me a post card about my prescriptions going to this location from Rite Aid closing. So they knew and accepted they would have many new customers. The postcard is obviously all they were willing to invest in the new customers. There are long wait times in store, no one answers the phone, no one picks up when the phone system puts you on hold, and they take an unreasonably long time to fill prescriptions. I have four relatives who get prescriptions filled here who had the same experiences. Save yourself some frustration and go to a different pharmacy. My family will no longer use Giant Eagle Pharmacy.

They need to start answering the phone I B know they are overwhelmed with rite aid customers cause of one of them but being on the phone for over an hr to asked a question less then 2 mins is crazy to me. I’m trying to be patient.

I been waiting since Friday for a medication. It needed ordered and I can understand that. However today I called the pharmacy and they said the order comes in around 1pm and I need to give them some time to fill it. They said a half hour or so. I gave them hours! I didn’t try to get my script until 7pm. She said it would still be a half an hour. I was still ok and willing to wait seeing they didn’t close until 8pm. I told her I’d wait and she responds with, “I can’t guarantee it will be done before we close.” OK I’m no genius but I think there is still an extra half hour in there if it would only take a half hour!!! It’s not the regular staff I’m used to seeing.
UPDATE! My script still isn’t ready! Probably because of this bad review. I will keep updating. I also will be looking into someone higher up to speak to about the issue.
UPDATE: Tuesday 7-1-25. I finally got my prescription. I didn’t get a text saying it was ready. I don’t think I would have either. I just showed up and was planning on waiting. I was waited on by a very kind woman, Lea. She seen it wasn’t ready and said she would go and fill it right then. I figured I’d have to sit and wait. But she said no just stay right there and she would go fill right then!

Horrible service here so unprofessional told me to call my prescription in .(multi times without being ready )They told me a pick up date on phone then I arrive it’s not ready she said 2 hours I then returned still no inhaler my asthma flaring up they don’t gaf. She says oh we’ll text you when it’s ready I can understand that but don’t tell me 2 hours then come up with that bs they closed for the day so I never got it remind you I went soons they opened around 10. The old lady service horrible the young girls are always ok with me I must say. DONT GO HERE IF YOU EXPECT A QUICK PICK UP

I typically have my prescriptions filled here, but the other day I went in to pick some up my doctor just put in. The pharmacist was very helpful and said one wasn’t ready yet. I asked if I could send my husband to pick it up later. She said it was fine. Then, she called me to let me know she couldn’t fill it until the next day because of a note the doctor had on the item. She didn’t want my husband to make an extra stop. I thought that was very thoughtful and great service because it did save us some time.

You call ahead to get your prescriptions filled they tell you a time and when you get there you have to wait the same amount of time they told you on the phone they are not professional at all.

While convenient and some associates are nice. The way they handle filling of scripts and way they treat you like you don't do few things makes you really want to not return.

I had such a positive experience shopping here today. I have the habit of intentionally leaving my cart at the end of an aisle, parked out of the way, to avoid congestion. Well, today, during non-peak hours on a weekday, my cart went missing. I realize sometimes I DO forget where I leave it but I looked several aisles in each direction for naught. Seemingly looking perplexed, i made eye contact with a friendly employee and explained. I went on looking because maybe a clerk thought the cart was abandoned or maybe someone thought it was their cart. As I was about to give up and nearly resigned to start over (I was nearly finished with my shopping) here comes that friendly nice employee with my cart! He had found it clearly somewhere I had not left it. Haha. I get it. Somebody accidentally grabbed my cart and by the time they realized it, they left it where it was. But, oh, how nice not to have to start over. Adding to that? My cashier was extra pleasant asking about my day.. And topping it off? Another pleasant and smiling employee greeted me at my car and took my cart while offering pleasantries. Yeah, yeah, this isn't every day and I could complain about prices or a cashier's off days. Not today. Not here. Today was a stellar day and I am grateful. When someone smiles, ya smile back and that interaction lasts much longer than the moment.

Good pharmacy with auto refill. Most times I get prescriptions on time however, a few times I was told prescriptions would be ready at one time but than 2 hours later it's done. usually this place is never busy.The store itself is clean and employee's are nice.

Good local grocery store. Good bakery. Decent sale prices. Chris Vassi is a great and friendly team member. Very helpful . Pleasant to see that in these Covid times when nobody wants to work. Citizens Bank inside could use some customer service skills. Stay safe
