My husband and I went to Home Depot to make an appointment to have a garage door opener installed. They outsourced it to a subcontractor. The guy who showed up (Justin Snyder of Snyder Installations) was very rude and unprofessional. He didn’t call to let us know when he’d be here, as most people do out of courtesy. When he did show up, he ignored me when I greeted him. He did not acknowledge my presence or even look in my direction as he started pulling on the garage door and looking around. I found this to be rude and disrespectful. When he finally did speak, he gave a list of problems (which was fine) but his explanations of the problems didn’t make sense (e.g., he was talking about cables overlapping when there was only one cable). He said he was was unable to do the work because our door was misaligned. He complained about the possibility of having to come back “500 times” to do our work (apparently a far trip for him). After my husband showed up, he was somewhat respectful to him but (again) ignored me and my questions, focusing entirely on my husband.Later, I phoned the company to voice my concerns about the encounter. When he answered, he was even more rude than before and called me “petty” for calling out his unprofessional behavior. He did not apologize for anything, said “he didn’t have time for this”, and angrily told me that he wouldn’t be doing the work for us. He also informed Home Depot (who contracted out to him) that he refused to do any work for us. He blocked me and my husband on from his company Facebook page so I am unable to review on him on the company site. I’ve never encountered some as rude and unprofessional.Home Depot called and (without apologies) told us that they were unable to schedule another company to do the work for us, leaving us high and dry.

Hot water tank went out. Immediately looked online, filled out a form on The Home Depot’s website. Within an hour or two I got a call from Mitchell’s plumbing for details. I provided them, braced myself for the cost, and was given some options for same day installation and haul away over the phone. Pulled the trigger on it through my HD credit card, Mitchell was there within 4-5 hours and it was done. 0% financing. Only thing that could’ve been smoother was the paperwork since their tablet couldn’t get an internet signal. Overall this was quite painless. Satisfied. Hope it lasts.Service: Plumbing fixture installation

Nothing like spending 7,000 on flooring to have it crumble within a year, and then have home depot stop replying to emails. ?

Customer service is mediocre in most cases. Very few employees are willing to assist.

our saga is not over but I would not recommend buying any Appliance from them. The delivery was changed and we had to wait 10 more days to get our refrigerator. When it arrived they said that they didn't know to switch the door swing. They reluctantly did it and in the process damaged the door and lost the plugs that go in the threaded holes in the top of the fridge. The delivery guy said he took a picture of everything and they would wend me a check for the damage if I woul

Went there today to pick up some wood for a deck frame and the selection was so picked over and shelves were extremely bare. I was told that there has been a lack of shipments in due to covid, which is understandable but also disappointing. Therefore, I don't have much else to say. Maybe call them ahead of time if you plan on making a trip to see if what you need is in stock.

After shopping there for many years I will never set foot in that store again!! Asst GM Tim is the rudest most unprofessional person I ever met. Started out over the phone being very rude to me he told me GM Kevin does not have a schedule he comes and goes as he pleases, lie, when I told him I have a Lowe’s a mile from my house which I do he told me to shop there for they would love my business. I walked into the store and asked the girl behind the counter when Kevin works she looked at a schedule said tomorrow. Tim was behind the counter asked if I needed anything he could help with I told him of our conversation over the phone he gave me instant attitude. He told me a few times if I am unhappy go and call 1-800-HOME DEPOT. If I need to go to Home Depot I guess I better not and go give my business to Lowe’s or eighty four lumber.

Customer service sucks. They subcontract delivery and take no responsibility for the products they sell at their store.
