I am still in the parking lot at Lowe’s West Mifflin. I stopped here to purchase gardening supplies and plants. However, the doors to the inside cashier, along with the gardening carts and bags of soil and additional plants for sale are locked! There is a young man sitting on top a pile of bags of soup or ricks or something, and he says to me, “The doors are locked.” I said that I saw that, and I asked why. He told me it was because of the “storm.” I looked around. It was sunny. He said, “Well, there was one an hour ago.” I went inside where another young gal said that the doors were locked “for the safety of the employees.” Gimme a break. I worked when I was a teen in the 70’s, and no one pampered our behinds. If it stormed, these people are inside a building! It’s not like they’re up on ladders installing wiring! If you want to know where young people get the idea the world revolves around them, look no further. This is absolutely pathetic.
I’m going to Walmart.

This is a multi-billion dollar company. Yet they ask you to scan your own items while someone stands there and watches you scan them. They literally pay people to stand there and do nothing. I don't hold it against the employees, they are just trained to do nothing for money. As I stated before this is a multi-billion dollar company and they should be paying people to ring your items up for you, and put them in a bag for you and then tell you to have a nice day! I'd imagine the day is soon coming where they will ask us to stock their shelves first before you can purchase anything. Again this rant is not against the employees who are trained to do little to nothing, it is against the corporation and it's greed.

Today I sent one of my employees picked up some material, and the person who assisted him told him that he could not help him if he did not have the bardcode. I always send employees to pick up materials with the order number, and I have never had a problem. The day before, I went to Homestead, and they helped me with the order number. Unfortunately, this person named BETH created difficulties for us as well to another clients . Waste of time

Bought a dishwasher for around $800 bucks... paid for them to come out and install it, it worked fine for the first few days, then all of a sudden it was not working at all. We called Lowes, they told us to call an electrician, so we did. Paid to have him come out and tell us its not the electric its installed wrong. Called lowes again, they said call whirlpool.. we did... whirlpool said its installed wrong and to call lowes... so again.. we did. This has been going on for about 2 months. paid for an $800 dollar dishwasher and lowes Will not send someone out to fix it. we keep calling anf they say they will call us back but then they never do. or they send us to another number who also says to call a new number. We cant get anyone to help us for 2 months. we just want someone to come out and install it correct but they wont help. We finally got an appointment and surprise NO ONE SHOWED UP. we again called and no one can explain why no one showed up. dont bother with Lowes. Buy your products from someone else

Lowe's is usually a hit or miss depending on the location but the service at this store was amazing. Ken went above and beyond to assist me with locating the correct tool that I needed and I wouldn't have been able to get my task done without his help. Kaleb and the woman at the customer service counter (sorry for forgetting your name dear) were also very helpful. West Mifflin is by far my favorite Lowe's location in the region!
