βI had a terrible experience at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. When I asked why the restrooms were closed, the manager became extremely rude, loud, and aggressive. Instead of giving a simple explanation, she shouted that it was a corporate decision and then followed me out of the store, yelling and even threatening to call the police. To make matters worse, she refused to give me her name when I asked. This behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and completely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others about the way customers are treated here.β
βCareer Traveler. Stop in this local phenom each time in the area. Tons to search through, not organized atall. (Size sorting a mess) yet still a fun experience. Many name brand clothes "not" as discounted as one might expect. (Clothes and such) but how can any Staff "keep up" with so much traffic.β
βPrices are great. Store is clean, well lit, neatly arranged and well-posted. Produce is much nicer too. Store overall is much nicer since the store has a new owner. I was well pleased.β
βThe majority of the employees are friendly for the most part, considering how busy they are. There is one young guy that works there puts a damper on things. He isn't very friendly and I have had him not answer me when I've spoken to him. Very disrespectful.β
βLove Dollar Trees! Find many household necessities and things that I really don't need, but are an amazing prices.
Thank goodness for Dollar Trees in this economy and this area.β
βThis place is hit or miss because sometimes youβll find items that you want to keep getting but they arenβt consistent with all of their inventory or they will order something like the product you want but doesnβt work as well this applied to several items not just cleaners or crafts but they have a great assortment of storage bins and definitely carry many celebration items like birthday wedding baby shower graduation parties from the napkins plates utensils table coverings place cards etc. every holiday the have a great array of things from candies to gift bags to decorations and they have costumes for kids this location also has many food items all accept milk and bread from what Iβve seen mind you they do not offer steak etc but they do have steak inβs for a better price than most places they have all your kitchen gadgets they have matching table settings they have all your lunch need including ziplock type storage and freezer bags and snacks treats for the kids they have canned fruits and veggies sports drinks and chips they have dog and cat foods . All kinds of school items they also have candles paper products for bathroom and other feminine products they have a items fit your car and tools for around the house . They have vitamins and medical items too they have your normal battery sizes.toiletries the people are friendly and helpful thereβs always parking here and they do have Mylar balloons and if Iβm not mistaken there is a bagged ice cooler inside the hours are good too staying open til tenβ
βHeather is the best always aware of her area for great customer service. Everytime I'm in she has been so nice and helpful. This Biglots is so nice, if I stay long I could break my bank . Thanks for keeping my Big lots nice!β
βDefinitely an adventure in exploration and discovery. You never know what's there and if you need something chances are they carry it. Pack a lunch because to totally pursue you'll need a few hours.β
βEasy to run in and out. Front of store has a little construction going on or something with yellow caution tape up but still can easily run in and grab everything that you need.β
βFast, friendly, clean environment. Staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The Roscoe DG has a much better set-up than many of the others I've been in. The aisles are much wider and it's much more organized/cleaner. Saved 30 dollars with my two five dollar off (Saturday) coupons, combined with other digital coupons, which was super convenient and also helpful to my budget. It's a store I actually don't mind going into, unlike others, such as Walmart. I can spend an hour in this store easily, without all of the overcrowding and hostility from other shoppers that I experience in bigger stores. It's much more peaceful, like shopping should be. Sometimes I end up purchasing items I don't even need, just because I'm able to spend the extra time browsing. When I'm at bigger stores like Walmart, I get in and out as fast as possible. I only "browse" at Walmart online because the physical environment is just incredibly intolerable. Grateful for DG with an environment that allows me to shop in peace!β
βI find many of products here that I would normally order online. I had no idea how vast the kitchen products selection is. They are also of good quality name brands.
Itβs right down the street from me and much less expensive than ordering from Amazon or Walmartβ
βThis family Dollar has a lot more than someplace like maybe shop and save you can find a lot of things that you're looking for all in one convenient place and a nice pricesβ

βEvery time I come to this dollar general I'm in heaven lol because there's so much more stuff to look at and buy than the other dollar general's in the area it seems like it is the biggest and the staff members seem to know how to order things so that it seems like they don't ever run out of something and 9 time's out of 10 if something isn't on the shelf then sometimes they have extra items in the back I also like this store better because everyone that works there seems so friendly and is always willing to help out a customer without any attitude or sly remarks under there breath and they don't have a mean mug on there faces lol like the other dollar general's around hereβ
βFound some good deals with their app and in-store discounts. Employees were helpful with finding products, while they were stocking shelves. But still took the time to tend to the customer.β
βThis dollar general is ran so much better then one closer to me! Today my cashier was Blake and he was so kind and you can really tell he works to connect customers. He was friendly with the guy before me and to me he even asked if the stuff in my basket was the discounted merch which it was and he made sure it took off the deals! He was happy and smiling which was so nice to seeβ
βItems are going up in price, but this is a wide variety store! They're fast at checking you out, honor their signs unlike the Dollar General not far down the road.
This is much better to buy from, than the Dollar General down the road because that store fails to honor their very own store 'sale signs' and refuses to give the sale prices when advertised.
Was a manager with clean, proper sale signage and she refused to give the sale properly there.
This store is the best in the area of Monessen for a wide variety of itemsβ
βGreat people working there, very friendly and Leah knows her customers well! She answers every question and sometimes even ask you if you got things she knoqs you regularly get. She even told me my husband was just there and bought the same thungs i was about.,whuch saved me money.β
βStopped at the Dollar Tree in the Target Plaza today. Wow, what a difference. The store is much neater than is has been in some time. Not to mention CLEANER! Also had a great, (not to mention unusual) employee experience. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was also helpful AND pleasant. Thank you, Tony! I hope they keep you around for awhile!!β
βIt's been decent ever since the revamp due to a fire that occurred a few years ago, if you are looking for some items that you need quickly, visit here as they aren't always busy.β
βI was just in there and the staff are so nice. The fact that they are understaffed is a corporate issue! It is not the cashiers, shelve stocker or any of the other people that work thereβs fault. They are doing great and I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BACK!β

βThis store is great for convenience. There are odd things they don't seem to carry and it looks a little disorganized and sloppy when you go in. Good deals on some items and overcharging for other items, since they are the only game in the area.β
βNot bad. The lack of shopping carts makes it difficult to shop . But they have the essential items and checkout was fast. The employees although stressed were very helpful.β
βToday I want to thank Debbie for her help, I had been to 5 other Dollar general stores looking for a slip n slide they said they had, but didn't, so I started calling other dollar general stores and she found one and held it for me. Thank you Debbie so much.β
βFthis is one of the cleanest Dollar General stores, that I have ever been in. It is this way seven days a week. The manager makes it a point to have it in tiptop shape. Congratulations to the store.β

βI havenβt been the store manager there in over a year! So to the last post thanks for the good laugh, because I know the corporate office laughed when you called in and used my name! I miss the coworkers and usual customers! I do not miss the way employees are treated. That is why I moved on and bettered myself with a company that puts employees and its customers as its first priority!! Thanks for a laugh though but please do not slander my name!β
