“This hotel is located right downtown next to the police station. There is a park a block away as well as many restaurants of different types. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean staff is friendly and it is a full breakfast Buffet”

“We used the Courtyard by Marriott as the hotel for our wedding in April of 2026 and we had a phenomenal experience. First and foremost, Candace was the easiest person to work with / get in contact with. She was always prompt in her response and gave us many options for how we could maximize our time and the space provided. I was able to use a king suite to get ready the morning of which was more than enough room for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and my mother PLUS 3 hair / makeup professionals. The room was huge and comfortable. The staff was exceptional, they handed out our welcome bags, stored our after party food for us, and even dropped off a goodie bag in our room for me and my husband to enjoy. Our after party bartenders were SO NICE. My guests were happy with their rooms. I really can’t say enough nice things about our experience here and would recommend anyone to use this hotel.”
“While the hotel is pretty basic and just has the necessary stuff (cleanliness, basic breakfast, etc,.) the location is awesome. So easy to get onto i81 and really helped me catch 4014.”

“Erin was so sweet and helpful at the front desk! Our rooms were clean, i forgot to take pictures before our stay but everything was wiped down and fresh. Across the street from Walmart and the mall, great location. Probably the best motel 6 ive stayed in. The price was also reasonable.”

“I had a fantastic experience at the Residence Inn by Marriott Wilkes-Barre Arena. This is a wonderful, larger Residence Inn property that truly goes above and beyond for its guests—I was even lucky enough to receive a free room upgrade during my stay!
The location is absolutely perfect. It’s incredibly convenient to all kinds of shopping and a great selection of nearby restaurants, including Applebee's, Outback Steakhouse, and Texas Roadhouse. As a bonus, the property offers beautiful, scenic views of the Scranton mountains.
The amenities here are top-notch. They have an excellent exercise room, a pristine swimming pool, and a great outdoor setup featuring a cozy fire pit and outdoor grills. It is just a beautiful place overall. What really ties it all together, though, is the staff—everyone I encountered was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive.
Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this place feels like a premium home away from home. I will definitely be back!”
