“Thanks to everyone's reviews we went here for diy dog wash. It was easy to book, affordable and I really liked the setup -adjustable temp water and no heat dryer. We have a XL dog that can easily overheat and has sensitive skin so I was so happy to see they carried fragrance free products/usually we have to bring our own. The store is jam packed with unique products and brands that are not at big box stores. Overall we had a great experience and are definitely going to come back ✨?”

“(Please enjoy the included photos of my now almost 1.5 yr old merle border collie getting attention from staff, playing with a puppy, meeting one of the owners cats, as well as her first ever visit to the store when she was about 10 weeks old. Also enjoy the pics of some of the past adoptable rescue cats in the window!)Where do I begin? This place is awesome. From the awesome owner and her store kitty Boo, to the adoptable rescue cats in the window, to the loyalty program with many brands that save you so much money, it's just the best. Dogs always get a complimentary treat at the register when they come in. The treats available are so diverse and it's great to try something new with my pets every couple weeks. The staff is very helpful and kind, and it is overall just a priceless staple of the neighborhood. I highly recommend stopping by, even if you don't have a pet! Because they have rescue cats in the window that you can pet and bond with (thanks to Greenstreet Rescue) and lots of great stock to get a gift for a pet owner in your life. Definitely check them out, I love this place.”
“If you have a dog, you need to get yourself here! I am so in love with this sweet shop and will be stopping by every time I am in Manayunk, which is usually with my pooch since it's on our way back from hikes at the Wissahickon. This bakery has a play area which I didn't even realize until I went to write this review, and they also have the cutest cookies, treats, accessories, and goodies for your dog. The staff here was the absolute sweetest and the vibes are just very good. My dog was so happy to be there and thoroughly enjoyed her St. Paddy's Day "lucky" cookie later that day. They were having a dog party later in the day, replete with doggie beer (LOL) treats, and playtime. I am so happy to know this business exists and will absolutely be getting my dog's birthday cakes and treats from here moving forward. An excellent addition to the already very dog-friendly Manayunk. Feel free to replicate my new dream Saturday: long hike at the Wiss, brunch on a patio, and a stop by this awesome shop. Tell your dog I say hi!”
“Without a doubt, the best pet shop in the city. The people who work there are always kind, respectful, and clearly love the animals they care for. Sam performed miracles on my foster dog and helped him get adopted. People commented on his haircut for a few weeks afterwards!”
“It is so nice to see a store for dogs ? to sit and eat ice cream on comfy pillow seats! And a place to celebrate your dog's birthday ? . Lots and lots of cookie treats that look edible for humans but not for dogs! Also dried snacks from meat,no hide chews, bags of dog cookie treats, leash,shampoos, conditioners that are special formuas for their needs.Cute toys are a bit expensive, but you will find something. There is a small section for cats as well. The staff are nice and helpful. It is a nice place to stop by and buy something for your furry friend.”
“My father got a rescue dog a few years ago, and he's mostly cocker spaniel, so he has cauliflower ears and gets very matted. The people there were very good to him even when he was getting agitated and said it would be safer to let his vet finish. I respect that because my dad used to have a visiting groomer...and last time she groomed him, she had cut him in 3 different places. Winston (the dog) won't even let me brush his legs. He only lets me use the grooming glove to remove excess hair. And my dad and I do our best with his face and ears, but we're amateurs! This is a safe place to take your pet in my opinion ?”

“Good experience over all. We got our puppy's first set of shots for 13.00, which is great. But you have to give the dog the shots yourself. We also got a huge bone for him to chew on. He loves it. We'll be back for our next set of shots.”

“We had a wonderful first grooming of our rescue dog. I am so glad I found a groomer that does not crate with caring and loving staff. My dog was a little shaky when we went in, since he's a bit shy at new places/ with new people. When I went to pick him up , he was as happy as can be and looked so handsome! He is a very happy boy! “Came in today seeking much needed help because my one cat stopped using the litterbox due to stress from my recent move. 2 wonderful individuals helped me locate several products to encourage my stubborn feline to start using the litter box again. Immediately after getting home and setting everything up the mission was extremely successful! The team members in this facility are extremely educated and helpful and I am very thankful and grateful for the information they shared with me! My cat is back to using the litter box and seems much more calm and comfortable! I absolutely love this pet store and the workers and they’ve definitely made me a life long customer!!!”

“I love this Petco Store! They have the best selection of items and priced very reasonable. I have purchased a lot of fish items including 10 gallon fish tank complete with everything you need. I have purchased filter assembly and filters for my outside fish quartet, Aqueoun products mostly, because they stand behind their products. I buy and have bought most of my fish from this store as well. Their employees are professional, exceptionally well trained as far knowledgeable, sincere and always a pleasure to do their best to take care of you on your shopping visit. I can not imagine a more sincere and dedicated group of individuals then these sales associates. Today on my visit to the store, Sunday October 27, a very sweet and genuine young lady took very good care of me and her name was Ryn, she has waited on me in the past and is outstanding. “I recently moved to this neighborhood and discovered Anima just down the block from my new digs. Not long after, my cat disappeared and I stopped in to ask them if they would display a missing cat poster. Not only did they prominently display the poster at their cash register and another one on their front door, but they referred me to an Instagram page where missing pets are announced and they gave me some helpful tips on coaxing her back home. Every time I shop there, I am met with friendly, helpful staff. And bonus to those paying with cash, because they will give you a nice discount!! “Place was AWESOME!!! Staff was super friendly, knowledgeable n jus all around good people! Store was neat, clean n well stocked n kept.. All the animals there were all very well taken care of cages/ tanks/ terrariums all clean ,fresh water n food... definitely would recommend this place to anyone... OHHH also they had the biggest monitors n fresh water flowerhorn cichlids i think I've ever seen!!! Keep up the great work guys!!”

I have a very old dachshund with nails that couldn’t be trimmed at the vet anymore, since he’s so squirmish and loses patience quickly now. They accepted a quick walk-in, let me hold him, and were so patient with my little boy! He walked out feeling brand new. “I am so thrilled that my neighbor recommended Lucky Dogz to me, when I adopted my rescue dog. Elizabeth and Paul are phenomenal dog people. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. Their staff is wonderful too -- my dog is safe and well looked after when I leave him here, and he is free within reasonable limits to explore and to socialize as much as he wants. This place is really excellent. The prices are reasonable, and I've even left him for overnight boarding, which is also well priced. I cannot believe our great fortune to have found lucky dogz!”
