Within walking distance of restaurants, stores etc. But that area is NOT pedestrian friendly...get right with Jesus before you cross any roads, including side roads. This particular BW was a place to sleep and shower. A better option than under bridge.*** This review is truthful and as kind as I can be.

It was my wife's birthday, and all she wanted was a fancy bath. One of our favorite spots is york, PA so I figured a reasonable hotel with fancy bath near our favorite spots would be golden for a 1 day staycation. Boy, I should have done more research on this place. Staff was neither friendly or bad.. just sort of there. The place had a musky stale sort of smell and the overall location was kind of sketchy. We get to our king suite with jacuzzi bathtub, and again.. it was fine? The bed is so flat we can feel the frame underneath. The tub was slightly dirty, so I cleaned that before the wife got in. The shower had hardly any heat (I spit hotter than that shower), there were hairs in the towels and the door didn't deadbolt.I'd recommend another hotel.

I am currently staying here and there is hair all over the bathroom, there was trash all over the lobby and the beds in the rooms are sub par.

We were here last month and had construction going on. It's another month and still going on, so inconvenient. Love the coffee, and Continental breakfast.

They are not worth the price they are charging while they are renovating. Hallways smell like mold, they try to cover it up with air freshener.

8/9/23 Hotel being remodeled in phases. We stayed on 3rd floor in new room and it was fine for the price. King bed, small couch, desk, frig, microwave, decent tv. Bfast quite basic but ok. Somewhat odd smell in 3rd flr hallway. I believe curry. I suspect the family owners may even reside up there and were cooking, but do not know. Was a good AAA rate for a decent room for low cost. Burger right next door at Quaker Steak is a half pounder...

This hotel was just fine for what we needed. My dad was admitted to York Hospital and we just needed a room from 10-11pm until morning and went back to the hospital. We stayed there two nights in July of 2023 while it was being remodeled. I think we must have stayed in a remodeled room because it was nice and very clean. We couldn't figure out how to use the tv, but we were too tired to watch it anyway and gave up. Breakfast was good. They had a pancake maker. Tiny, tiny elevator.... Big enough for 2-3 people and a little luggage. Desk staff was kind and helpful. It's not a fancy place but all we needed was clean and cheap so it was perfect.

Stayed here for a volleyball tournament, NEVER again would I stay here or recommend. The hotel seems to be undergoing renovations, but that has nothing to do with cleanliness. Our room wasn’t very clean. Spider webs, hair from previous guests. I will note the staff was very nice and accommodating at check-in, they just weren’t prepared for a large number of guests, especially while undergoing renovations.Noteworthy details: This hotel was selected as our official team hotel for a volleyball tournament. While the hotel noted it was undergoing renovations, they should not have booked us. Many of our club members, athletes and family had to either switch rooms or check out altogether, leaving them to find alternative last minute Lodging. Reason: dirty rooms, bed bugs and roaches. While the staff seemed very nice, the accommodations were very low budget… Add to the stress of many of the teams having to split up because of the mentioned details, management had the NERVE to get upset and argue with one of the guest for simply adding “very basic” decorations to the room door as a surprise to a athlete for her 16th birthday that was staying there for the tournament… POOR TASTE, especially when that moment was an attempt at trying to make an already horrible stay/situation better… Mind you her teammates did it as a surprise, NO DAMAGE to the facility walls, paint, NOTHING..the management made it WORSE! So unnecessary, especially considering you had so many patrons leave dissatisfied! Wow just wow… shame on you…

NOT GOOD. I had to book this hotel because it was the only hotel that had availability for a volleyball tournament.Terrible customer service when you call (was told twice to call back at a later time when they weren’t busy… how do I know when that would be??!!) The rooms are old, worn and in disrepair. Gross and dirty carpet, water stained ceiling tiles, perpetually running toilet that squealed loud enough to wake you up, leaking shower faucets, sagging mattresses, weird smells coming from the heating unit (which wouldn’t keep a consistent temperature). The elevator was janky and didn’t seem safe. Signs said they were undergoing renovations, but it didn’t seem to be going on anywhere in the hotel. I also noticed that the carbon monoxide detector was incorrectly mounted near the ceiling, so certainly not saving anyone on the 2nd floor and below us.The only redeeming qualities were that the pillows were decent and each bed had 4 pillows, even though some smelled like head grease. The location was okay and in proximity to a mall and a short drive to the expo. Overall, I would NOT recommend this hotel. If you don’t have any choice, consider yourself warned.

Before I begin: I usually ONLY stay at Marriott or Hilton properties!!!!Ok when I first pulled up in the parking lot i was skeptic. I got checked in & the night manager was a bit annoying but I chalked it up. I finally get checked in & go to my room. I walk & and I smell an overwhelming, overpowering smell of flowers… it stunk bad. I look around and ughhh it is underwhelming. I then go get in the shower, as I am running the water, I notice the shower was clogged. I was extremely annoyed. (I am ocd when it comes to cleanliness.) After I get out, i grab a towel, the towels are thin & one of them had a stain, another had a piece of hair on it!!! Yuckkkk …. I was so disgusted. I called to the front desk & there was nothing they could do. I was going to cancel the rest of my stay. From now on I am going to stick with my gut & def go with Hilton or Marriott properties . NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

We came down for a cheer competition and after another hotel price gouged us a different price than what I was told. Anyhow, the room we had was very clean and neat. It's a good location, got a great restaurant right in front and jersey Mike's delicious subs. There is construction going on but most of the time you don't hear them. The only issue we had was the shower didn't have good pressure as it is probably broken. (Water poured out of the head around the inner parts) but we will definitely be back to this one soon.

Dirty room broking shower pole customer service refuse to provide more towels unless I trade for use towels. Corners fill with old dust making it look black and nasty shower had a sticky mat that you will not want to put your feet to take a shower. It was just a horrible experience.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 week. Originally I was rather impressed for the value as it appeared to be clean and a good place to stay. Looks can be deceiving and a major complaint is that the hotel is very roach-infested. I would see roaches nightly in my room and they were crawling through the lights and die there. Please see the photographs I have added. There are photos of roaches and sinks and a dead one in the light. This is not a bad rumor but simply the truth about the place. I believe the management already knows as I saw the maintenance man walking around with an insecticide canister after visiting a room. Roach infestation is a health issue and they should fumigate the whole hotel.
