What a neat store!!! The place is small on one floor but chock full of goodies. There's a variety of products--new and old. If you enjoy nostalgia and stationary this is your dream shop. The passion for implements and paper is in every corner. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will go again. Plus there's neat historical stuff on York, Pa.

The owner is wonderful and always willing to help. I do 90% of my pen and ink shopping here instead of online because she carries most supplies you'd need. It's always a treat when I get to stop in. The store is very charming.IF THE STORE APPEARS CLOSED when it should be open, double check using the phone number posted on the website! It's worth checking out.

Walking into this shop is like both stepping back in time in a dream and going to one of the shops from Harry Potter! If you have the chance to even just visit, I would HIGHLY recommend you do. They carry virtually ever major brand of every type of pen AND ink. You wouldn't think anyone could fit so much stock into such an albeit small, but charming place. One of York's hidden treasures for sure, Pippi's Pen shop is not only a one of a kind store, they are a one of a kind location. I can't imagine it being any more perfect that it is. I can't speak for everyone but, I will definitely be a regular here.

This store is soooo cool! It's definitely worth stopping by. It's like a tiny little museum dedicated to pens, stationery, quills, stamps, all kinds of stuff! I find something new every time I come. And the lady who runs the store is very nice, she helped me find the exact pen that I needed and gave me a good deal for it. Highly recommend!

Hubby and I are visiting from NY and this was a place we HAD to visit. We are so glad we did and we WILL be going back. There are delightful goodies in every nook and cranny so take your time going through everything. We had a blast choosing gifts for each other (inkwells, pen cases, fountain pen inks and assorted other treats). "Pippi" herself is just about the sweetest woman so be sure to chat her up about the shop and history of the building.

If you were interested in pens, the history of pens, penmanship, calligraphy, etc:This is the place for you! The owner is the nicest person and the shop is just incredible to walk through. I mean it's kind of like a museum -not in a musty way, but in a way that you'll get interested even if you thought you weren't.

If you like old-school writing instruments, this is the store for you. Located in a historic home in downtown York, PA, you will find fountain pens, rollerball pens, ballpoint pens, quill pens, pencils, inks, journals of all sorts, wax and seals for envelopes, stationery, and God knows what else if you take the time to dig and explore. It's like a little museum. The prices are reasonable, and the ambience is priceless. Jane, the owner, is an awesome host for your journey here. She is very knowledgeable, and will help find your way back to a world that was much less complicated, where you could document things without worrying it might be deleted. This store is one-of-a-kind, and it must be treasured like the gem that it is.
