“Solid selection, well organized, little pricey, expect $6+ a can. Knowledgeable staff are helpful with recommendations, small selection of dried meats, cheeses and sauces. Definitely worth stopping in, but be prepared to splash some cash.”
“The Beer King lives up to its name - if you buy beer in bulk, you won't find better deals! ? Great prices on large cases, and the sale prices when you buy multiple cases are unbeatable! Although, prices on individuals and small packs are comparable to other places nearby. ?
The walk in fridge takes up the bulk of the store and has a great assortment of beers and malt liquor based canned drinks.”

“Never had a bad experience, even when I ended up with a rotten box of wine(not their fault from supplier).. they exchanged no issues and the staff was attentive and super helpful..I appolgize to the staff working for my irritation..wasn't quite a "Karen"-- just didn't want to go home with another rotten wine!!-- lol..Thanks again”
“Staff very friendly and helpful. I was served in English even though a new barbarian law allows servers not to speak English even if they are fluent. But a sex offender was granted a retail this year in BC because his case wasn't tried in French. Greater minds than mine might be able to figure this out. Admittedly I can't.”

“One of the biggest in Ottawa, where you can find a great variety of wine and spirits. Since I'm from the Caribbean, aside of the Cuban rum Havana Club that you may find easily, rum such as Barbancourt, Vieux Labbé from Haiti or Saint James for Martinique are less common. (Don't know also if it is the people from these communities that buy them though) but you will find all of the world big brands mostly. I really the store for its wine collection.0”

“Much more choice here than in several other places! Unfortunately, they still don't have the Apricot Brandy that I love so much! ? Good variety/good service!”

“The selection is quite extensive and the staff is friendly and helpful. The store was clean and well-organized as well.
Great place to pick up your favorite liquor!”
“Very nice neighbourhood store with excellent customer service and very decent beer selection considering its size. Staff always has time for recommendations or things on sale to save a buck.”
“Excellent selection. Layout is a bit confusing. Popular products frequently go out of stock with no updates on when they'll be restocked. Location could use more staff during peak periods.”
“Absolutely love this store and the staff. They are always friendly and kind and the selection is decent and unique. Its always clean and bright. Great location with competitive pricing.”

“Great place to visit for all my needs - it’s just full of many kinds of any spirit you could think of. The staff are great and helpful - the only downside about this location is the constant presence of drunk or stoned homeless people bothering folks at the entrance.
Be careful if you go there and if you’re a woman please consider not going there
alone.”
“All the staff are very friendly, even the pan handlers out side have a cheerful demeanor unless they're fighting with eachother. The location is a little small but caters to a local Vanier population with many different tastes. If you're looking for alcohol and a show this a great place to revive both.”
“Spectacular international beer business, although it lacks a lot of very famous variety from Spain or the United Kingdom...
The entire establishment is a giant refrigerator. A beer-only business is interesting.
A resounding success in the area and among locals and tourists.”
“Nice big store. Lots of parking but might get filled during weekends due to big Loblaws beside it.Nice selection of Japanese sake. They also carry a few Korean wine.Great artistically painted electric box right at the entrance as landmark.”
“Was only returning empty bottles. Service was so nice I decided to go look at their beers. Came back with new products. Both workers I interacted with were very pleasant.”
“Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Modest selection, but still good for its size/location. Allows you to buy alcohol while shopping for groceries at Massine'd Independent Grocer. Prices are fair.”

“Paula was fantastic! She was super knowledgeable and made choosing the right wine a breeze. Her recommendations for wine pairings were spot on, and her sense of humor made the whole experience even better. Great service at the LCBO—thank you, Paula!”
“It's not a big store but the selection is pretty good and sevice friendly. They have been making an effort lately to greet everyone when they arrive. That is welcome. They also encourage customers to check the app for promotions.”
