I wanted to contact this branch following the death of my brother who had all his products at BMO (account, credit card, mortgage, Action Line). No answer when you call. The customer contact center informs me that I absolutely must transact through the branch. After leaving 2 detailed messages, a cashier finally called me back after 6 working days. I am told to go to the branch at the counter but since I am not from Granby I ask for an appointment with a personal banking representative in my city. After insisting, I finally got an appointment in two weeks. The local representative confirmed to me that I would have wasted my time if I had gone to the counter because they do not know the products. My nightmare now continues at my local branch who have frozen the account (understandably) but insist that mortgage payments continue to be taken until the account is at zero. When I asked what would happen when there was no more money for payments, they confirmed to me that the mortgage would go into collection... All because we are still waiting for the state's certificate civil. In addition, they do not talk to each other between departments and the information I give them is not transmitted between services. We always start from scratch. It is clear that I would never open my inheritance account at this bank.

When there are telephone appointments, they do not call you. We called ourselves and they complicated things for nothing. I had made an RESP and it took another year before I could get my money back and the interest. They literally took my money hostage. In addition, they prefer to make a telephone appointment for a mortgage loan when it is an important case. It should be in person.In short, go elsewhere regardless of the bank. You will get better service.

They took a large amount from my accounts without warning. In 2 years to my mortgage renewal, I'm not going back there. Unfortunately, they don't care about customer service.
