We were very well guided by the staff at the construction department. Unfortunately, the plumbing department was another story. The middle-age man who answered our question didn't know much. At one point, he disappeared and never came back although we had someone calling him. We found out he was doing something else and completely abandoned us. We had to go at Rona where a young staff guided us very well and gave us even more than what we needed. We know where to go now.

I asked the clerk (in French) where the paper was and another clerk interrupted us and answered my question in English when the lady handled my question perfectly. Second incident with the same clerk. In the wood yard I'm looking for the 2x2 he shouts "Sir" to me, I ignore him and he does it a second time. This clerk needs more training, I'm not going back to this store for sure, there's a Rona+ next door

I went to get some paint from the paint counter. There were two people at the counter working. When I asked one of them what color paint I needed, he looked me straight in the eye and told me the paint machine wasn't working. Either he didn't want to work and wanted to make me think that the two workers were there to twiddle their thumbs (therefore taking me for an idiot)', or a manager really put two employees to twiddle their thumbs around a machine which doesn't work. Etk, it's a very unprofessional center, you're better off going to the Reno opposite.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Home Depot in Laval located on 1400 Le Corbusier Blvd QC H7N 6J5 is terrible in terms of its client service. I went in to purchase a garage door and garage door opener, well in excess of $2000. I approached three store staff (they were together) and when I asked for help one said she is busy with another client (yet she was just hanging out with her co workers and the other two simply ignored me). Approached a more ‘senior’ level employee and her answer was ‘would you like to speak to the Manager’. I realize it is minimum wage you are paid but if you don’t wish to work then forfeit your job to someone that does and deserves. A job is not a right. It is privilege where you must earn your pay.
